Maybe her parents named her after the late\u00a0French actress who played &#8220;Simone&#8221;,\u00a0the wife of the famous <em>inspecteur Clouseau <\/em>in <em><strong>La Panth\u00e8re rose <\/strong><\/em>(The Pink Panther)?<\/p>\n<p>The full video of her fairytale is also available, but this one is maybe even nicer to watch, since\u00a0her beautiful\u00a0and <em>rocambolesque <\/em>(fantastic) fairytale is accompanied by the\u00a0music theme\u00a0of &#8220;<em><strong>Le fabuleux destin d&#8217;Am\u00e9lie Poulain<\/strong><\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Il \u00e9tait donc\u00a0une fois&#8230;<\/em> (Once upon the time&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <em><strong>Tigrou et Winnie l&#8217;ourson<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>, ils allaient dans les bois pour trouver des fraises<\/em> <\/strong>(Tigger and Winnie the Pooh were going into the woods to find some strawberries), <strong><em>mais la sorci\u00e8re elle voulait pas du tout, parce que c&#8217;\u00e9tait *SES* fraises \u00e0 elle !<\/em> <\/strong>(but the witch did not agree\u00a0at all, because these were\u00a0*HER* own\u00a0strawberries!) <em><strong>Ils se sont bagarr\u00e9s, bagarr\u00e9s, et c&#8217;est le lion qui a gagn\u00e9! <\/strong><\/em>(So they fought, fought, and\u00a0the lion won!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman: <em>Wow!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <strong><em>Et puis c&#8217;\u00e9tait lui le roi, il avait un casque, une \u00e9p\u00e9e, et&#8230; Comment on dit l\u00e0 o\u00f9 on se prot\u00e8ge? <\/em>[<\/strong><em>formidable expression!<\/em><strong>] <\/strong>(And he was the king, he had a helmet, and a sword, and&#8230; how do you say where you protect yourself?)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman:<\/strong> <em><strong>Heu, un casque? Un bouclier\u00a0?!<\/strong> <\/em>(Eh, a helmet? a Shield?!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <em><strong>Un bouclier! Et des pouvoirs magiques! <\/strong><\/em>(A shield! and magic powers!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><strong>&#8211; La Maman: <em>Wow!<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine: <em>Et ensuite ils ont vu plein de choses, elles \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s jolies<\/em><\/strong> (And then they saw many things, very pretty things.) <strong><em>Il y avait des fleurs, le soleil, les nuages&#8230; Mais plein de choses !<\/em><\/strong> (There were flowers, the sun, the clouds, MANY things!) <strong><em>Mais il y avait quelque chose qui cloche, c&#8217;est qu&#8217;il y avait&#8230; il y avait un crocodile qui dormait dans l&#8217;herbe&#8230; <\/em><\/strong>(But there was something going amiss, because there was a crocodile who was sleeping in the grass&#8230;) <strong><em>Et puis quand on montait dessus il se r\u00e9veillait et il mangeait les b\u00e9b\u00e9s<\/em><\/strong> (And when you stepped on it, it would wake up and it would eat the babies!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman: <em>Oh!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <strong><em>Donc, il y a quelque chose qui cloche encore, c&#8217;est que l&#8217;hippopotame, il est pas dans l&#8217;eau. Il pr\u00e9f\u00e8re, il pr\u00e9f\u00e8re se tuer <\/em><\/strong>(So, something goes amiss again&#8230; because the hippo is not in the water, and he prefers to kill himself.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman: <em>Oh?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <strong><em>Donc, le lion il tue, il tue l&#8217;hippopotame et il va au ciel.<\/em><\/strong> (So the lion kills the hippo and they go to heaven.) <strong><em>Mais il le savait pas! Et, lui il voulait pas aller au ciel.\u00a0Et puis\u00a0il d\u00e9cida de pas aller au ciel<\/em><\/strong> (But the hippo did not know, he didn&#8217;t want to go to heaven, so he decided not to go to heaven), <strong><em>mais le lion il dit: &#8220;C&#8217;est trop tard, maintenant. T&#8217;as d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d&#8217;\u00eatre mang\u00e9.&#8221; Et Pchhhh!<\/em><\/strong> (but the lion said: \u201c It&#8217;s too late now!\u00a0 You decided to be eaten,\u00a0 pshhhhh.&#8221;\u00a0<strong><em>Et ensuite, le lion, c&#8217;est bien fait pour lui, parce qu&#8217;il n&#8217;avait plus de pouvoir<\/em><\/strong> (And then it was well-deserved for the lion, because he had no more powers.) <em><strong>Et puis ensuite, le pouvoir (elle) a all\u00e9 au popotame, et le popot&#8230; et le hippopotame, il \u00e9tait allergique \u00e0 la magie <\/strong><\/em>(And then the power went to the popotamous, and the hippo was allergic to magic.) <em><strong>Et le hippopotame et le lion, le tigre, ils ont eu des&#8230; des boutons, ils ont eu la (b)aricelle <\/strong><\/em>(The hippo and the lion and the tiger, they got&#8230; spots, they got the &#8220;chicken-<em>(b)<\/em>ox.&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman<\/strong>: <em><strong>Oh\u00a0dis donc !<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <em><strong>Et puis ensuite, la baricelle, elle a all\u00e9 \u00e0 un autre animal qui \u00e9tait TR\u00c8S m\u00e9chant, \u00e9norm\u00e9ment, tr\u00e8s m\u00e9chant, et c&#8217;\u00e9tait un mammouth ! <\/strong><\/em>(Then, the &#8220;Chicken-box&#8221; went to another animal, who was very bad, tremendously\u00a0VERY bad, and it was a mammoth!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman<\/strong>: <em><strong>Oh !<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <em><strong>Mammouth, il avait des griffes<\/strong> <\/em>(Mammoth had claws.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman<\/strong>: <em><strong>Oh !<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <strong><em>Des pouvoirs pour que les gens qui sont morts au ciel <\/em><\/strong>(Powers so that people are dead in heaven.) <strong><em>M\u00eame les animaux !<\/em><\/strong> (Even the animals!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; La Maman<\/strong>: <em><strong>Oh&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>&#8211; Capucine:<\/strong> <strong><em>Et ensuite, il y avait une dame qui avait une bague, comme toi, mais elle \u00e9tait pas pareille, parce qu&#8217;elle \u00e9tait orange <\/em><\/strong>(And then, there was a lady who had a ring, like yours, but it was different because it was orange.) <strong><em>Et ensuite, la bague orange, elle fait, elle fait Pchhht! elle tue toutes les sorci\u00e8res, comme \u00e7a les gens ils sont tranquilles, ils peuvent faire tout ce qu&#8217;ils veulent, et m\u00eame les enfants&#8230; <\/em><\/strong>(Then the orange ring, it would go &#8220;pshhht&#8221; and kill all the witches.
