{"id":8,"date":"2008-09-24T03:12:03","date_gmt":"2008-09-24T07:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/?p=8"},"modified":"2008-09-24T03:12:03","modified_gmt":"2008-09-24T07:12:03","slug":"chez-maite","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/french\/chez-maite\/","title":{"rendered":"Chez Ma\u00eft\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>When I was living in France for the second time in 2003 there was a Big Brother\u00a0type show on television (Nice People) which I avidly watched and one of the guest housemates was a French cook named Ma\u00eft\u00e9. \u00a0Since I wasn&#8217;t eating there, I obviously fell in love with her personality as she&#8217;s bubbly, fun, quick-witted and she loves to cook and really gets you into it too. \u00a0It was the only time I can think of where I ran out to a bookstore to specifically buy a cookbook. \u00a0And I still have her cookbook<span> <\/span><span><em>La cuisine de Ma\u00eft\u00e9<\/em><\/span>. \u00a0It&#8217;s a favorite of mine as it&#8217;s quite easy to follow and makes French cuisine seem so simple. \u00a0You&#8217;ll be producing excellent four-course meals in no time!
