Guten Tag! Whether die Astrologie<\/strong> (astrology) interests them or not, most people are aware of what their Sternzeichen<\/strong> (star sign) is. In today\u2019s post, we\u2019ll be looking at the star signs in German!<\/p>\n

In German, the term das Sternzeichen<\/strong> literally translates to ‘star sign’<\/em>, but another word for it is das Tierkreiszeichen<\/strong>, which translates to \u2018animal circle sign\u2019<\/em>. In English, the signs of the Zodiac are known by their Latin words (Aries, Taurus, Leo etc.), but in German these have been translated and therefore sound a little more simplistic. Many of the signs are animal-based, hence the German word for Zodiac, which is der Tierkreis – \u2018the animal circle\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n
