I personally think that it’s great that Bavaria is really fighting for our environment (and also our food produce!) and it’s amazing to see how many people around Munich are also on board with this. \nGermany is known as a very enviromentally friendly and efficient country, what with it’s renewable energy sources and bike friendly cities. And now Bavaria has made a petition –\u00a0Rettet die Bienen!<\/strong>\u00a0to help save the bees. From the 31st of January to the 13th of February German citizens have the opportunity to sign the petition in town halls.<\/p>\n
\nBavaria wants to stop\/use less of pesticides which are harming the bees (not just bees, but also butterflies and other wildlife) and therefore have a more ecological agriculture. They want to increase the organic food market in the hope that it will stop the decline of the bees. More than half a million people have signed the petition and there is still one more day to go!<\/p>\n
