I remember the first time I recognized\u00a0a German song that I knew the words to. It was in a clothes shop and I started singing along to the music in my head, without realizing\u00a0that it was in a different language. It is amazing how music can help you learn a different language. Carrying on from Conni’s post (which you can find here<\/a>), I will also be sharing my top three German songs of this decade as the year comes to a close. Below are my favorite\u00a0three songs that I hope you enjoy just as much as I do.<\/p>\n

Sido – Tausend Tattoos (2018)<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

With a catchy chorus, the rapper Sido raps about his “tausend” (thousand) tattoos and what they mean. The repetitive phrase “for you” means you can sing along even if you don’t understand the words yet, and towards the end of the song “for you” changes to “f\u00fcr dich”, so you will be rapping away in German in no time!<\/p>\n
