But why does it happen, and what can be done to help ease or prevent it? The following text will give you some information about<strong> Muskelkater<\/strong>, and teach you German vocabulary related to health and fitness. These include: Starting a new <strong>\u00dcbungsprogramm\/Fitnessprogramm<\/strong> (exercise programme); increasing the<strong> Intensit\u00e4t<\/strong> (intensity) or <strong>Dauer<\/strong> (duration) of your regular exercise routine; changing the type of<strong> Training<\/strong> (training) you are doing; coming back to exercise after a <strong>Pause<\/strong> (break).<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">In all of these instances, <strong>die Muskeln<\/strong> (the muscles) are required to work harder (or in a different way) than they\u2019re used to. However, the best way to minimise Muskelkater is to start off easy and build new exercise routines<strong> allm\u00e4hlich<\/strong> (gradually).<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\">I have Muskelkater! Examples include<strong> Schwimmen<\/strong> (swimming) and <strong>Yoga<\/strong> (yoga)<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>die Dehn\u00fcbungen<\/strong> \u2013 stretching exercises<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Your<strong> Ern\u00e4hrung<\/strong> (nutrition) also plays a part. Eating meals rich in <strong>Eiwei\u00df\/Protein<\/strong> (protein) and <strong>Kohlenhydrat<\/strong> (carbohydrate) will ensure your muscles get the nutrients they need to repair and recover quickly.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Muskelkater can last anywhere between 1-5<strong> Tage<\/strong> (days), and although it can be uncomfortable, don&#8217;t fear it!
