Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is one of the most famous classical composers of all time. Mozart lived a short life (1756 \u2013 1791), dying at the age of 35. However, he composed more than 600 musical works during his lifetime, with Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/em><\/strong> (The Magic Flute<\/em>) and Eine Kleine Nachtmusik<\/em><\/strong> (A Little Serenade- <\/em>often called A Little Night Music<\/em>) amongst some of his most famous pieces.<\/p>\n

Classical music (die klassische Musik<\/em><\/strong>) is considered sophisticated, elegant, and intellectual. So it might surprise you to learn that the Austrian composer also created a piece titled \u2018Leck Mich Im Arsch\u2019<\/em> <\/strong>\u2013 literally, \u2018Lick me in the a*s\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

Yes, it\u2019s true! Mozart wrote a Canon for 6 Voices in B-Flat Major, titled Leck Mich Im Arsch.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>This (or Leck mich am Arsch<\/em>) is a common German phrase, by the way. You can read more about it, and similar phrases, in this blog post here. \u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n
