In such statements, the past has to be stressed by using adverbs that refer to the past, like: gestern (yesterday), vor zwei Wochen (two weeks ago), vergangenes Jahr (last year), etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>5) Sie <strong>wird<\/strong> gestern in M\u00fcnchen <strong>angekommen sein<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>[Wahrscheinlich ist sie gestern in M\u00fcnchen angekommen.]<\/p>\n<p>(She will have arrived in Munich yesterday.)<\/p>\n<p>[Probably she arrived in Munich yesterday.]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>6) Er <strong>wird<\/strong> ihr das Geschenk vor einer Woche <strong>gegeben haben<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>[Wahrscheinlich hat er ihr das Geschenk vor einer Woche gegeben.]<\/p>\n<p>(He will have given her the present a week ago.)<\/p>\n<p>[Probably he has given her the present a week ago.]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>c) The <strong><em>Futur II<\/em><\/strong> can also be replaced by the <strong><em>Perfekt<\/em><\/strong>, when the future is displayed with adverbs of time, for example, <strong><em>morgen<\/em><\/strong> (tomorrow), <strong><em>bald<\/em><\/strong> (soon), <strong><em>nachher<\/em><\/strong> (later), etc.<\/p>\n<p>7) Morgen um diese Zeit <strong>werden<\/strong> wir in K\u00f6ln <strong>angekommen sein<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>(At this time tomorrow we will have arrived in Cologne.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>8) Bald <strong>werden<\/strong> wir es <strong>geschafft haben<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>(Soon we will have made it.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>9) In einer Stunde <strong>werden<\/strong> wir unser Ziel <strong>erreicht haben<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>(In one hour we will have reached our aim.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Futur II is used on different occasions. &nbsp; a) You use Futur II to refer to actions that will take place in the future and that will have been completed in the future.
