Telling jokes is usually nice as a pastime but it can also help you to practice your comprehension skills in German (or any other foreign languages). Following, I listed three jokes, each presented in German and English. When you are a beginner of learning German as a foreign language, read the English version first and then the German one. Knowing the content (from the English version) might help you to understand the German version better.<\/p>\n

When you are an advanced learner of German, you can start with the German version and then check with the English version whether you understood everything correctly. Enjoy!<\/p>\n
