This is great <strong>\u00fcbung <\/strong>(practice) for your German, expanding your vocabulary, practicing how to follow a German recipe\u00a0and at the end of it you can reward yourself with homemade <strong>Apfelkuchen! <\/strong>I&#8217;ve written the recipe in German and\u00a0English in case you get stuck. Own photo<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Zutaten:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zwei grosse \u00c4pfel, gesch\u00e4lt und entkernt<\/li>\n<li>Eine Tasse Zucker<\/li>\n<li>Eine Tasse Butter<\/li>\n<li>Zwei Eier<\/li>\n<li>Ein einhalb Tassen Mehl<\/li>\n<li>Einen Teel\u00f6ffel Backpulver<\/li>\n<li>Einen Teel\u00f6ffel Zimt<\/li>\n<li>Eine halbe Zitrone<\/li>\n<li>Zwei Essl\u00f6ffel Zimtzucker<\/li>\n<li>Eine runde Springform (ca 26cm Durchmesser)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Zubereitung:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Den Ofen vorheizen auf 190 Grad Celcius. Die Springform mit \u00d6l und Mehl fetten.<\/p>\n<p>Die Butter und den Zucker in eine Sch\u00fcssel geben und mit einem Handr\u00fchrger\u00e4t\u00a0 verr\u00fchren bis eine cremige Masse entsteht.<\/p>\n<p>Die Eier dazu geben und weiter r\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<p>Langsam das Mehl, Zimt und Backpulver unter st\u00e4ndigen r\u00fchren dazu geben.<\/p>\n<p>Einen Apfel in kleine W\u00fcrfel schneiden und dazu geben.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6417\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright post-item__attachment\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6417\" class=\"wp-image-6417 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/german\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/06\/20150625_222020-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"20150625_222020\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-6417\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cover the mixture with apple pieces. Own photo.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Die \u00c4pfel mit einem L\u00f6ffel unterheben bis alles gut gemischt ist und in der Springform gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig verteilen.<\/p>\n<p>Den zweiten Apfel vierteln und in ca. f\u00fcnf millimeter dicke Scheiben schneiden. Die Scheiben auf dem Teig verteilen. Jetzt die halbe Zitrone \u00fcber den \u00c4pfeln auspressen und mit Zimtzucker bestreuen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Springform f\u00fcr ca. 50 Minuten in den Ofen. Als test einfach mit einem Messer in den Teig stechen und wenn beim heraus ziehen kein Teig am Messer kleben bleibt ist der Apfelkuchen fertig.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Englisch:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two large apples, peeled and cored.<\/li>\n<li>One cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>One cup butter<\/li>\n<li>Two eggs<\/li>\n<li>One and a half cups of flour<\/li>\n<li>One teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n<li>One teaspoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>Half a lemon<\/li>\n<li>Two tablespoons \u201ccinnamon sugar\u201d (mix sugar and cinnamon together)<\/li>\n<li>One round spring form cake tin (around 26cm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preparation:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour the cake tin.<\/p>\n<p>Beat the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer until the mixture is creamy.<\/p>\n<p>Mix in the eggs.<\/p>\n<p>Slowly add the flour, cinnamon and baking powder whilst continually mixing.<\/p>\n<p>Cut up one apple into small pieces\/cubes and add them to the mix.<\/p>\n<p>Stir them in using a spoon until everything is well mixed and spread the mixture evenly into the cake tin.<\/p>\n<p>Quarter the second apple and cut it into slices about half a centimetre thick. Lay the apple pieces on top of the mixture. Press the lemon juice out of the lemon over the apple pieces and then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top.<\/p>\n<p>Put the cake tin in the oven and bake for around 50 minutes.
