This post is the beginning of a weekly post of a story of Max, a German student. I will write a little\u00a0Kapitel\u00a0<\/em>every week on Fridays preferably, and you can decide how the story should continue… Let me know in the comments (preferably in German!) which questions you might have after reading it, and how you think, or would prefer it to continue!<\/p>\n

Kapitel 1<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Es ist sieben Uhr drei\u00dfig. Zeit um auf zu stehen! Das Bett ist sch\u00f6n warm. Und mit den eisigen Temperaturen drau\u00dfen f\u00fchlt es sich noch w\u00e4rmer an. Aber Max muss raus – heute hat er einen wichtigen Termin. Sein Handy vibriert und klingelt\u00a0auf dem B\u00fcro am anderen Ende des Zimmers. Dort legt er es immer hin, damit er auch wirklich aufstehen muss, um es abzuschalten. Normalerweise bringt dieser nervige L\u00e4rm ihn sofort auf die\u00a0F\u00fc\u00dfe. Aber heute Morgen, gerade an diesem Morgen, kann Max sich einfach nicht trennen von der himmlischen W\u00e4rme seines Bettes. Seine F\u00fc\u00dfe kuscheln sich in die Decke, sein Kopf ruht sich noch ein wenig aus auf dem Kopfkissen. Sein Handy klingelt nochmals, aber jetzt ist es ein anderer Ton – ein Anruf! Max springt aus dem Bett um zu sehen wer es ist…<\/em><\/p>\n

THE TRANSLATION<\/span><\/p>\n

Chapter 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is seven thirty AM. Time to get up! The bed is nice and warm. And with the icy temperatures outside it feels even warmer. But Max has to get up – today he has an important appointment. His mobile phone vibrates and rings on his desk at the other side of the room. He always puts it there, so that he has to actually get up to turn it off. Normally, this annoying noise gets him on his feet immediately. Though this morning, especially this morning, Max just can’t separate himself from the heavenly warmth of his bed. His feet are snuggling\u00a0in the blanket, his head is resting just a little bit longer on the pillow. His phone vibrates again, but now it’s a different ringtone – a call! Max jumps out of his bed to see who it is…<\/p>\n
