Whilst browsing the other Transparent Language blogs as I do from time to time, I came across a fantastic post on the Greek blog entitled \u2018Greek vocabulary from the news\u2019.<\/a> There are a few, interconnected topics that are dominating the headlines worldwide at the moment, namely der Terrorismus<\/strong> (terrorism), der Syrien Konflikt<\/strong> (the Syria conflict) and die Fl\u00fcchtlingskrise<\/strong> (the refugee crisis). What the Greek bloggers have done is provided a list of common Greek words and phrases found in the news, should their readers want to read up on, or listen to the news in Greek. I thought this would be a brilliant thing to do here on the German blog, too.<\/p>\n
