Last week, Max started to get excited for the date he will have with Laura in the evening. He thought about her a lot, and explained how they met and the date came about. On the way to the supermarket, where he got some ingredients for Kalter Hund<\/em>, the dish he is going to make for Laura, he dropped of the attestation from the eye doctor at the driving school. How will it go?<\/p>\n

Kapitel 9<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Max \u00f6ffnet die Haust\u00fcr und betritt seine Wohnung. Laura kommt in drei Stunden. Das reicht f\u00fcr einen guten Kalten Hund! Er braucht nur die Anweisungen zu folgen. Das wird also ziemlich einfach.<\/em><\/p>\n

Die Rose legt er auf den K\u00fcchentisch. Die Einkaufst\u00fcte stellt er auf den Boden, und er f\u00e4ngt an, die Eink\u00e4ufe auszupacken. <\/em><\/p>\n

Zuerst muss er aber den Kalten Hund machen. Erstens: das Kokosnuss\u00f6l schmelzen. Wird Laura so einen Abend m\u00f6gen? Zweitens: den Rest mischen. Wird Laura \u00fcberhaupt was S\u00fc\u00dfes essen wollen? Drittens: das \u00d6l und die anderen Zutaten mischen. Und auch wenn sie das mag, wird sie ihn auch m\u00f6gen? Viertens: die Butterkekse auf das Backblech legen. Wor\u00fcber werden sie reden? F\u00fcnftens: die Schokoladenmasse \u00fcber die Kekse verteilen. Wird sie \u00fcberhaupt kommen, oder war die Verabredung nur ein Spa\u00df? Nach der versprochenen achten\u00a0Schicht Kekse ist der Kalte Hund fertig. Ab in den K\u00fchlschrank! <\/em><\/p>\n

Pl\u00f6tzlich schellt die T\u00fcrklingel. Wer ist das? Es w\u00fcrde zu fr\u00fch sein f\u00fcr Laura…<\/em><\/p>\n

THE TRANSLATION<\/u><\/p>\n

Chapter 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

Max opens the house door and enter his apartment. Laura comes in three hours. That’s enough for a good Kalter Hund<\/em> (hedgehog slice)! He just needs to follow the instructions. So that will be quite easy. The rose he puts on the kitchen table. The grocery bag he puts on the floor, and he begins to unpack the groceries.<\/p>\n

First he needs to make the Kalter Hund<\/em>. Firstly: melt the coconut oil. Will Laura like an evening like this? Secondly: mix the rest. Would Laura even like to eat something sweet? Thirdly: mix the oil and the other ingredients. And also if she likes that, will she like him too? Fourthly: put the tea biscuits on the baking sheet. What will they talk about? Fifthly: spread the chocolate mass over the biscuits. Will she come at all, or was the date just a joke? After the promised eighth\u00a0layer of biscuits the Kalter Hund <\/em>is ready. In the fridge with it!<\/p>\n

Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Who is that? It would be too early for Laura\u2026<\/p>\n
