It also means to loom. \u03a4\u03bf \u03c6\u03b5\u03b3\u03b3\u03ac\u03c1\u03b9 \u03c3\u03ba\u03ac\u03b5\u03b9 \u03c0\u03af\u03c3\u03c9 \u03b1\u03c0\u03cc \u03c4\u03bf \u03b2\u03bf\u03c5\u03bd\u03cc. \/ The moon is looming behind the mountain.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u039c\u03cd\u03c4\u03b7<\/em> means nose. <em>\u03a3\u03ba\u03ac\u03c9 \u03bc\u03cd\u03c4\u03b7<\/em> means to appear.<\/p>\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n<p>\u0397 \u03ba\u03c5\u03c1\u03af\u03b1 \u039c\u03b1\u03af\u03c1\u03b7 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u03ad\u03ba\u03b1\u03c3\u03b5 \u03bc\u03cd\u03c4\u03b7<\/span> \u03c3\u03c4\u03b7\u03bd \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03bb\u03af\u03b1 \u03bc\u03b5 \u03b2\u03c1\u03b1\u03b4\u03b9\u03bd\u03cc \u03c6\u03cc\u03c1\u03b5\u03bc\u03b1.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Mary appeared at the beach in an evening dress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#3 \u03a4\u03b1 \u03c3\u03c0\u03ac\u03b5\u03b9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u03a3\u03c0\u03ac\u03c9<\/em> means to break. E.g. \u0388\u03c3\u03c0\u03b1\u03c3\u03b1 \u03ad\u03bd\u03b1 \u03c0\u03bf\u03c4\u03ae\u03c1\u03b9. It can be also used to mean that something is amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n<p>\u039f \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9\u03bd\u03bf\u03cd\u03c1\u03b3\u03b9\u03bf\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b8\u03b7\u03b3\u03b7\u03c4\u03ae\u03c2 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u03c4\u03b1 \u03c3\u03c0\u03ac\u03b5\u03b9<\/span>. The new teacher is amazing.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>#4 \u039a\u03b1\u03bc\u03ad\u03bd\u03bf\u03c2<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It means burned. it refers to someone whose brain has been damaged from drug abuse.
