The factory employed around 500 workers, the sales were good, and the products were exported to Europe and the Middle East. But in 1933, after Adolf Hitler\u2019s rise to power in Germany, Eliahu and his business partners decided to immigrate to Israel. They came to Israel with their knowledge and funding, and didn\u2019t waste a minute. They bought land outside of Tel-Aviv, and in 1934 their new candy factory started to operate.<\/p>\n<p>\u05de\u05b4\u05e4\u05b0\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc \u05d4\u05b7\u05e9\u05c1\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05d3 \u05d4\u05b7\u05de\u05b7\u05bc\u05e6\u05b0\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05d7\u05b7 \u05e9\u05c1\u05b6\u05dc \u05d0\u05b5\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4\u05d5\u05bc \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05dc\u05b7\u05d8\u05b0\u05d1\u05c5\u05d9\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4 \u05e0\u05b4\u05e1\u05b0\u05d2\u05bc\u05b7\u05e8 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0-1933.<\/p>\n<p>Eliahu\u2019s successful chocolate factory in Latvia was shut down in 1933.<\/p>\n<p>\u05d1\u05bc\u05b0-1934 \u05d0\u05b5\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05bc\u05b8\u05d4\u05d5\u05bc \u05d5\u05b0\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05bc\u05ea\u05b8\u05e4\u05b8\u05d9\u05d5 \u05e4\u05bc\u05b7\u05ea\u05b0\u05d7\u05d5\u05bc \u05de\u05b4\u05e4\u05b0\u05e2\u05b8\u05dc \u05d7\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05e9\u05c1 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05d9\u05b4\u05e9\u05c2\u05b0\u05e8\u05b8\u05d0\u05b5\u05dc.<\/p>\n<p>In 1934 Eliahu and his partners opened a new factory in Israel.<\/p>\n<p>One of their first sweets was a chocolate bar (\u05d8\u05b7\u05d1\u05b0\u05dc\u05b7\u05ea \u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05d3). It was named \u05e9\u05c1\u05b7\u05de\u05b0\u05e0\u05d5\u05bc\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9\u05ea (nowadays literally means \u201coily\u201d or \u201cgreasy\u201d) and had a drawing of cow on its wrapping. The name didn\u2019t spread, but the chocolate did. The Israeli customers liked the chocolate more than its name and called it \u201cCow Chocolate\u201d (\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05d3 \u05e4\u05bc\u05b8\u05e8\u05b8\u05d4). Eliahu and his partners decided to go along with their customers and dropped the original name off the wrapping, leaving only the cow image on it \u2013 an image that became the chocolate trademark. The sellers, the consumers, and the advertisers are all using the name that has being given by the public. Its first from 1934 with the name \u05e9\u05c1\u05b7\u05de\u05b0\u05e0\u05d5\u05bc\u05e0\u05b4\u05d9\u05ea on it; the second without a name on it, but with a more realistic cow drawing; the third when the cow became a smiling icon and remain so till today. Today, more than 80 years later, there are many kinds of \u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b7\u05d3 \u05e4\u05bc\u05b8\u05e8\u05b8\u05d4: white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate with puffed rice, white chocolate with cookies, dark chocolate with nuts, milk chocolate filled with strawberry cream, and so on. The chocolate factory (\u05de\u05b4\u05e4\u05b0\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc \u05d4\u05b7\u05e9\u05c1\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05d3) always think about new ideas. To celebrate the millennium, for example, the factory manufactured a special limited edition of milk chocolate with pop rocks. The Israelis liked it, and the unusual chocolate is still being produced. A few months ago the factory produced a new chocolate bar (\u05d8\u05b7\u05d1\u05b0\u05dc\u05b7\u05ea \u05d4\u05b7\u05e9\u05c1\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05d3): blonde chocolate. The milk chocolate (\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b7\u05d3 \u05d7\u05b8\u05dc\u05b8\u05d1) has more versions than the others. It sweet and children like it. But the dark chocolate (\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b7\u05d3 \u05de\u05b8\u05e8\u05b4\u05d9\u05e8) is the most selling one, because it\u2019s not only a tasty treat, it\u2019s also used for baking. White chocolate (\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b7\u05d3 \u05dc\u05b8\u05d1\u05b8\u05df) has only two versions (classic and with cookies), and is less popular. \u201c\u05d8\u05b7\u05e2\u05b7\u05dd \u05d4\u05b7\u05e9\u05c1\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05d3 \u05d4\u05b8\u05e8\u05b0\u05d1\u05c5\u05d9\u05e2\u05c5\u05d9\u201d (the fourth taste of chocolate) is the first Israeli blonde chocolate (\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b7\u05d3 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05dc\u05d5\u05ba\u05e0\u05b0\u05d3\u05c5\u05d9).
