Israel second election in 2019 will be held on September 17th.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of hours after the April election results were published, two parties\u2019 leaders delivered a victory speech (\u05e0\u05b0\u05d0\u05d5\u05bc\u05dd \u05e0\u05b4\u05e6\u05bc\u05b8\u05d7\u05d5\u05b9\u05df). Both <em>Likud<\/em> and <em>Blue and White<\/em> won a large number of seats (\u05de\u05d5\u05b9\u05e9\u05c1\u05b8\u05d1\u05c5\u05d9\u05dd): 35 Knesset sears to each. Established just months before the election, <em>Blue and White<\/em> (\u05db\u05bc\u05b8\u05d7\u05b9\u05d5\u05dc \u05dc\u05b8\u05d1\u05b8\u05df) recorded a great triumph by achieving a draw (\u05ea\u05bc\u05b5\u05d9\u05e7\u05d5\u05bc) with the older, popular <em>Likud<\/em> (\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05db\u05bc\u05d5\u05bc\u05d3). But a coalition is not built on a single party (\u05de\u05b4\u05e4\u05b0\u05dc\u05b8\u05d2\u05b8\u05d4). The rightwing parties, to which <em>Likud<\/em> belongs, won ten more seats than the leftwing parties. The President of Israel did assign the task of forming the government (\u05de\u05b6\u05de\u05b0\u05e9\u05c1\u05b8\u05dc\u05b8\u05d4) upon Netanyahu, but 42 days passed by, and Netanyahu became the first elected prime minister in Israeli history to stumble in forging a working government. According to the\u00a0law, Netanyahu was supposed to face the President and inform him on his failure. But Netanyahu, who fears the President will impose the task to <em>Blue and White<\/em>\u2019s chairman (\u05d9\u05d5\u05b9\u05e9\u05c1\u05b5\u05d1 \u05e8\u05b9\u05d0\u05e9\u05c1), initiated a law to dissolve the Knesset (\u05db\u05bc\u05b0\u05e0\u05b6\u05e1\u05b6\u05ea).<\/p>\n<p>The twenty-first government lasts only five months, from April 9th to September 17th. It is the shortest government in the Israeli history. Within five months, Israel is going through two election campaigns (\u05de\u05b7\u05e2\u05b2\u05e8\u05b6\u05db\u05b6\u05ea \u05d1\u05bc\u05b0\u05d7\u05b4\u05d9\u05e8\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea), including two sabbatical days, and millions of NIS of public funds, all due to coalition crisis (\u05de\u05b7\u05e9\u05c1\u05b0\u05d1\u05bc\u05b5\u05e8 \u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d0\u05b8\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05e6\u05b0\u05d9\u05d5\u05ba\u05e0\u05c5\u05d9).<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u05e4\u05e9\u05d5\u05d8 \u05dc\u05d1\u05db\u05d5\u05ea\u201d(<em>nothing to do but cry<\/em>), wrote a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globes.co.il\/news\/article.aspx?did=1001287781\"><em>Globes<\/em><\/a> reporter. When Benny Gantz, chairman of <em>Blue and White<\/em>, was asked whether his party would consider a unity government (\u05de\u05b6\u05de\u05b0\u05e9\u05c1\u05b6\u05dc\u05b6\u05ea \u05d0\u05b7\u05d7\u05b0\u05d3\u05d5\u05bc\u05ea) with Netanyahu, Gantz didn\u2019t turn down this option. \u201c\u05e0\u05e2\u05e9\u05d4 \u05de\u05d4 \u05e9\u05d8\u05d5\u05d1 \u05dc\u05d9\u05e9\u05e8\u05d0\u05dc\u201d (\u201cwe\u2019ll do what\u2019s best for Israel\u201d), he replied. Gantz\u2019s campaign advisers (\u05d9\u05d5\u05b9\u05e2\u05b8\u05e6\u05c5\u05d9\u05dd) sent him in front of the cameras again to clarify the chances for unity government.
