He could also replace the verb \u05dc\u05b0\u05d4\u05b7\u05d7\u05b0\u05dc\u05c5\u05d9\u05e3 in the verb \u05dc\u05b0\u05d4\u05b7\u05e2\u05b2\u05dc\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea, meaning <em>to elevate<\/em>. To indicate taking things more easily, on the other hand, or getting into a calmer mode, another verb is used: \u05dc\u05b0\u05d4\u05d5\u05ba\u05e8\u05c5\u05d9\u05d3, meaning <em>to lower<\/em>. \u05dc\u05b0\u05d4\u05d5\u05ba\u05e8\u05c5\u05d9\u05d3 \u05d4\u05c5\u05d9\u05dc\u05d5\u05bc\u05da\u05b0 means <em>to slow down<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u05d4\u05b6\u05d7\u05b0\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05e3 \u05e6\u05b0\u05d1\u05b8\u05e2\u05c5\u05d9\u05dd is another common idiom with the verb \u05dc\u05b0\u05d4\u05b7\u05d7\u05b0\u05dc\u05c5\u05d9\u05e3. It literally means <em>he\u2019s changed colors<\/em>, and describes a person in a great discomfort or embarrassment. It originates from the fact that many people faces in such a state become red or white.
