\u05d4\u05b7\u05dc\u05b8\u05bc\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b7 \u05ea\u05bc\u05b8\u05de\u05b4\u05d9\u05d3 \u05e6\u05d5\u05b9\u05d3\u05b5\u05e7<\/strong> (the customer is always right<\/em>) is a well-known slogan in the fields of commerce and service, which exhorts service staff to give a high priority to customer satisfaction (\u05e9\u05c2\u05b0\u05d1\u05b4\u05d9\u05e2\u05d5\u05bc\u05ea \u05e8\u05b8\u05e6\u05d5\u05b9\u05df<\/strong>).\u00a0\u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b7 (pronounced as la-ko-ach) is a shopper in a shop, or a client that receives services.<\/p>\n

\u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b7<\/strong> is the Hebrew masculine form of customer<\/em>, client<\/em>. For the feminine form we add the suffix letter \u05d4<\/strong> \u2013 to form the word \u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b8\u05d4<\/strong> (pronounced as la-ko-cha). Not only the Hebrew noun is changed when referring to female or male, but also the adjectives and the verbs that are applied to the noun. For example:<\/p>\n

\u05d4\u05d5\u05bc\u05d0 \u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b7 \u05d5\u05b8\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9\u05e7, \u05d4\u05d5\u05bc\u05d0 \u05d1\u05bc\u05b8\u05d0 \u05dc\u05b0\u05e4\u05ba\u05d4 \u05db\u05b8\u05bc\u05dc \u05e9\u05c1\u05b8\u05e0\u05b8\u05d4.<\/p>\n

\u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b7<\/strong> is one of the Hebrew nouns whose plural form is included in the list of exceptions. As a masculine word, we would expect its plural form to end with the masculine suffix. But \u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b7<\/strong> is one of the masculine nouns that get the opposite gender\u2019s ending in the plural form. The plural form of \u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b7<\/strong> is \u05dc\u05b8\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/strong> (pronounced as la-ko-chot). For example:<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no bargaining on food, clothing, stationery, books, toys, etc. People do feel comfortable to ask for a discount (\u05d4\u05b2\u05e0\u05b8\u05d7\u05b8\u05d4<\/strong>) when buying something big like electrical goods, furniture, vehicles, or paying on a service.<\/p>\n
