Since this is the middle of August, I went over to the Israel Meteorological Service&#8217;s website to check it out. Here&#8217;s what I found out:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">From the beginning to the end of <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d4\u05b5\u05e7\u05b4\u05d9\u05e5<\/span> (summer) hot, dry desert winds called &#8220;hamsin&#8221; (<span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d7\u05b7\u05de\u05b0\u05e1\u05b4\u05d9\u05df<\/span>) occur anytime from March to November. This means I can&#8217;t go rushing around a lot. No problem, I&#8217;ll most likely be visiting air-conditioned <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05de\u05d5\u05bc\u05d6\u05b5\u05d0\u05d5\u05b9\u05df<\/span> (museums), <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05de\u05b4\u05e1\u05b0\u05e2\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05d4<\/span> (restaurants), do some browsing in a <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05bc\u05e7<\/span> (bazaar) somewhere, And since I&#8217;ve lived in the deserts of the Southwest USA, I know to drink plenty of <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05de\u05b7\u05d9\u05b4\u05dd<\/span> (water), and use <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05e7\u05b0\u05e8\u05b6\u05dd \u05e9\u05b4\u05c1\u05d6\u05bc\u05d5\u05bc\u05e3<\/span> (sunscreen).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Okay, now that I got that&#8230;what if I stay longer than expected? <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d7\u05b9\u05e8\u05b6\u05e3<\/span> (winter) in Israel is cold and <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d2\u05b8\u05bc\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05bc\u05dd<\/span> (rainy), so I better pack something for then, or maybe I can just buy something there when I absolutely need it. It&#8217;ll help with my shopping practice.<\/p>\n<h3>Where Am I Going?<\/h3>\n<p align=\"justify\">Israel may be a small country, but there are so many places to go and explore. Ashdod &#8211; (<span style=\"font-size: 18px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d0\u05b7\u05e9\u05b0\u05c1\u05d3\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05d3\u200e\u200e<\/span>)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">I don&#8217;t know how long this will take as I plan on giving each city a couple of weeks to explore and report back to you. I hope you&#8217;ll be excited enough to possibly take a trip in the future to any one of these places and experience it yourselves.<\/p>\n<h3>Booking the Trip<\/h3>\n<p align=\"justify\">In order to go, I&#8217;ll visit my <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05e1\u05d5\u05b9\u05db\u05b0\u05e0\u05d5\u05bc\u05ea \u05e0\u05b0\u05e1\u05b4\u05d9\u05e2\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/span> (travel agency) and see what they have for me to check out. Hopefully I can find some great deals and <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d4\u05b2\u05e0\u05b8\u05d7\u05b8\u05d4<\/span> (discounts).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">I made sure my <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d3\u05b7\u05bc\u05e8\u05b0\u05db\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05df<\/span> (passport) is current. And because I&#8217;ll be passing through the West Bank, I&#8217;ll get a <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d5\u05b4\u05d9\u05d6\u05b8\u05d4<\/span> (visa) in Tel-Aviv and I&#8217;ll talk more about that when I arrive. I got the addresses and phone numbers to the <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05e9\u05b7\u05c1\u05d2\u05b0\u05e8\u05b4\u05d9\u05e8\u05d5\u05bc\u05ea \u05d0\u05b8\u05de\u05b6\u05e8\u05b4\u05d9\u05e7\u05b8\u05e0\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea<\/span> (American Embassy) just in case I need to get in touch with them.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Okay, what am I forgetting? Oh yes! My <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05db\u05b7\u05bc\u05e8\u05b0\u05d8\u05b4\u05d9\u05e1 \u05d8\u05b4\u05d9\u05e1\u05b8\u05d4<\/span> (plane ticket)! Can&#8217;t forget that. I&#8217;ll put it in my carry-on bag so I&#8217;ll be sure to have them.<\/p>\n<h3>Coming Next<\/h3>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05dc\u05b0\u05d0\u05b8\u05e8\u05d5\u05bc\u05d6<\/span> (packing) for the trip is something I really don&#8217;t like too much, but it has to be done.
