The Internet has become the breeding ground for new words, new knowledge. You may have seen and used things like LOL, OMG, BRB, TMI, ROFLMAO and so on. Hebrew is not immune to these changes. There is a slang that is growing fast online known as <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\" title=\"fah-kah-TSEET\"> \u05e4\u05e7\u05e6\u05d9\u05ea\u200e<\/span> &quot;fakatsit&quot; and used mainly by teen girls.<\/p>\n<p>The three influences of this culture are:<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Japanese kawaii culture<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; South American TV<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; American youth culture<\/p>\n<p>Well, they are used by these Hebrew youths and they also have their own way of<br \/>\ntyping it up even on non-Hebrew keyboards. Looking at the chart above, you&#039;ll see that <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05e9<\/span> is W, <span style=\"font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05dc<\/span> is 5, <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05d5<\/span> is 1 and <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05dd<\/span> is N. So to say <span style=\"font-size: 21px;font-family: times new roman\" dir=\"rtl\">\u05e9\u05dc\u05d5\u05dd<\/span> in fakatsot, you would type N15W (or N!5W). Looks like a code, doesn&#039;t it?
