So let&#8217;s start talking about what we like to do &#8211; our hobbies.<\/p>\n<p>The Hebrew word for &#8216;hobby&#8217; is <span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 21px; font-family: times new roman;\" title=\"takh-BEEV\">\u05ea\u05b7\u05bc\u05d7\u05b0\u05d1\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9\u05d1<\/span>. To tell someone what your hobby is, you would say:<\/p>\n<p>My hobby is&#8230; &#8211; <span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 21px; font-family: times new roman;\" title=\"hah-takh-BEEV shell-EE\">\u05d4\u05ea\u05b7\u05bc\u05d7\u05b0\u05d1\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9\u05d1 \u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9 &#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>You can also shorten it to <span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 21px; font-family: times new roman;\" title=\"hah-takh-bee-VEE\">\u05d4\u05ea\u05b7\u05bc\u05d7\u05b0\u05d1\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9\u05d1\u05d9 &#8230;<\/span> and still mean the same thing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, what do you like to do? The first one we&#8217;ll look at is by using the preposition <span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 21px; font-family: times new roman;\" title=\"shell\">\u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05dc\u05b4<\/span> &#8216;of&#8217;:<\/p>\n<p>John&#8217;s hobby &#8211; <span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 21px; font-family: times new roman;\" title=\"hah-takh-BEEV shell yo-HAHN-ahn\">\u05d4\u05b7\u05ea\u05b7\u05bc\u05d7\u05b0\u05d1\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9\u05d1 \u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05dc \u05d9\u05d5\u05b9\u05d7\u05b8\u05e0\u05b8\u05df<\/span><br \/>\nDavid&#8217;s book &#8211; <span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 21px; font-family: times new roman;\" title=\"ha-seh-FEHR shell dah-VEED\">\u05d4\u05b7\u05e1\u05b6\u05e4\u05b6\u05e8 \u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05dc \u05d3\u05b8\u05bc\u05d5\u05b4\u05d3<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Basically you&#8217;re saying &#8220;The hobby of John&#8221; and &#8220;The book of David&#8221;. Pretty simple construction there, don&#8217;t you think?
