Examples are: &#8220;I used to study&#8221;, or &#8220;I used to run&#8221; or &#8220;I used to work&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here is an example with the verb &#8220;to go&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I used to go (masculine) : <strong>\u092e\u0948\u0902 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u093e \u0925\u093e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I used to go (feminine) : <strong>\u092e\u0948\u0902 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0925\u0940<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We used to go (masculine) : <strong>\u0939\u092e \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0947 \u0925\u0947<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We used to go (feminine) : <strong>\u0939\u092e \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0925\u0940\u0902<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You used to go (to a person of lower status)(masculine) :\u00a0<strong>\u0924\u0942 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u093e \u0925\u093e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You used to go (to a person of lower status)(feminine) : <strong>\u0924\u0942 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0925\u0940<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You used to go (to a person of the same status)(masculine) : <strong>\u0924\u0941\u092e \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0947 \u0925\u0947<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You used to go (to a person of the same status)(feminine) : <strong>\u0924\u0941\u092e \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0925\u0940\u0902<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You used to go (to a person of higher status)(masculine) : <strong>\u0906\u092a \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0947 \u0925\u0947<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You used to go (to a person of higher status)(feminine) : <strong>\u0906\u092a \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0925\u0940\u0902<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He used to go : <strong>\u0935\u0939 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u093e \u0925\u093e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She used to go : <strong>\u0935\u0939 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0925\u0940<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They used to go (masculine) : <strong>\u0935\u0947 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0947 \u0925\u093e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They used to go (feminine) : <strong>\u0935\u0947 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0925\u0940\u0902<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So to form the past imperfect, take the stem of the verb and attach it to either <strong>\u0924\u093e<\/strong> (if the pronoun is singular, masculine), <strong>\u0924\u0947<\/strong> (plural, masculine), or <strong>\u0924\u0940<\/strong> (feminine, singular, plural).
