Before we begin talking about the ablative case, the following words may prove useful:<\/p>\n

Here – \u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901<\/strong><\/p>\n

There – \u0935\u0939\u093e\u0901<\/strong><\/p>\n

In – \u0905\u0902\u0926\u0930<\/strong>, \u092d\u0940\u0924\u0930<\/strong><\/p>\n

Out – \u092c\u093e\u0939\u0930<\/strong><\/p>\n

Above\/Over – \u090a\u092a\u0930<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under\/Below – \u0928\u0940\u091a\u0947<\/strong><\/p>\n

Behind – \u092a\u0940\u091b\u0947<\/strong><\/p>\n

In front of – \u0915\u0947\u00a0\u0938\u093e\u092e\u0928\u0947<\/strong><\/p>\n

When an object or the subject of a\u00a0sentence\u00a0is moved from one place to another, the place from where the object or the subject moved is in the ablative case.<\/p>\n

Examples:<\/p>\n

He goes from here to there : \u0935\u0939\u00a0\u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901 \u0938\u0947\u00a0\u0935\u0939\u093e\u0901 \u091c\u093e\u0924\u093e\u00a0\u0939\u0948<\/strong> (there = object. here = ablative)<\/p>\n

I went to Delhii from Mathuraa : \u092e\u0948\u0902 \u092e\u0925\u0941\u0930\u093e \u0938\u0947 \u0926\u093f\u0932\u094d\u0932\u0940 \u0917\u092f\u093e <\/strong>(Delhii = object\/accusative. Mathuraa = ablative)<\/p>\n

From the two sentences above, the ablative suffix was \u0938\u0947<\/strong>. In both cases the place that came after the word “from” in English was placed in the ablative. (“From here” and “From Mathuraa”)<\/p>\n

When one object\/subject is compared with another object\/subject, the other object\/subject is in the ablative:<\/p>\n
