That&#8217;s because placing <strong>\u0939\u0948<\/strong> at the end of a sentence is sometimes optional. In English as in Hindi, you can create a negative sentence with the positive verb <strong>\u0939\u0948<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Like in these examples :<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays he doesn&#8217;t go to the office : <strong>\u0935\u0939 \u0906\u091c\u0915\u0932\u00a0\u0926\u095e\u094d\u0924\u0930\u00a0\u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902\u00a0\u091c\u093e\u0924\u093e\u00a0\u0939\u0948<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He is not here : <strong>\u0935\u0939 \u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901\u00a0\u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902\u00a0\u0939\u0948<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In all four sentences, the word for &#8220;not&#8221; was <strong>\u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902. <\/strong>In all these sentences <strong>\u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 <\/strong>was placed before the main verb.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s do a sample practice. If &#8220;I will go&#8221; in Hindi is <strong>\u092e\u0948\u0902\u00a0\u091c\u093e\u090a\u0901\u0917\u093e<\/strong>, what is &#8220;I won&#8217;t go&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p>The answer is: <strong>\u092e\u0948\u0902 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 \u091c\u093e\u090a\u0901\u0917\u093e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now let&#8217;s look at a sentence like this:<\/p>\n<p>No, this is not mine either : <strong>\u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902, \u092f\u0939 \u092e\u0947\u0930\u093e \u092d\u0940 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0\u0939\u0948<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 <\/strong>can also mean &#8220;no&#8221; as in the example above.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, we&#8217;re going to learn about negation with words like, &#8220;not&#8221; and &#8220;no&#8221;.
