Phrases in Hindi are called “\u092a\u0926\u092c\u0902\u0926<\/strong>” (Padband<\/em>). These are the group of the words which function as a single unit in the syntax of a sentence.
\nThese unit may emphasis a noun, pronoun, adjective, verb or adverb in a sentence.<\/p>\n

In Hindi, phrases are of 5 types.<\/p>\n

1. \u0938\u0902\u091c\u094d\u091e\u093e \u092a\u0926\u092c\u0902\u0926 (Sangya Padband<\/em> – Noun Phrase)<\/strong>
\nWhen a phrase is used as a noun in a sentence then it is called Sangya Padband<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Examples:
\n\u092f\u092e\u0941\u0928\u093e \u0915\u093e \u092a\u093e\u0928\u0940<\/strong> \u0917\u0928\u094d\u0926\u093e \u0939\u0948. – Water of Yamuna (a river) is dirty.

\nWhen a phrase is used as a pronoun in a sentence then it is called Sarvname Padband<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\nWhen a phrase is used as an adjective in a sentence then it is called Visheshan Padband<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\nWhen a phrase is used as a verb in a sentence then it is called Kriya Padband<\/em>.<\/p>\n
