\nThe earliest records of habitation in India are over 30,000 year old. These records have been found through cave paintings. Around 3000 – 1500 BC, several cities Mohenjo-daro, Harappa, Dholavira, and Kalibangan like have flourished in the northern part of India (some parts are now in Pakistan).
