However, the mistakes could be avoided if a learner knows the pitfalls.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I will cover some of the common mistakes that a beginner could make and detail about it so you can avoid it.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the common mistakes are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Grammatical Gender<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For example, the the sentence: Brother or Sister will come.<\/p>\n<p>Incorrect: \u092d\u093e\u0908 \u092f\u093e \u092c\u0939\u0928 <strong>\u0906\u090f\u0917\u093e<\/strong>\u0964<\/p>\n<p>When &#8220;\u092f\u093e&#8221; (or) is used the grammatical gender of the verb agree to the last noun. In our example sentence, it is \u092c\u0939\u0928 ( Sister) which is feminine so it should be \u0906\u090f\u0917\u0940 (she will come) instead \u0906\u090f\u0917\u093e (he will come)<\/p>\n<p>Correct: \u092d\u093e\u0908 \u092f\u093e \u092c\u0939\u0928 <strong>\u0906\u090f\u0917\u0940<\/strong>\u0964<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, if a pronoun is used then it agree to the following noun as in the following sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Incorrect: <strong>\u092e\u0947\u0930\u0940<\/strong> \u092c\u0947\u091f\u093e \u0914\u0930 \u092c\u0947\u091f\u0940 \u0906\u091c \u0926\u093f\u0932\u094d\u0932\u0940 \u0917\u090f \u0939\u0948\u0902\u0964<\/p>\n<p>\u092c\u0947\u091f\u093e (Son) is masculine and hence, the pronoun must be \u092e\u0947\u0930\u093e (mine &#8211; masculine) instead \u092e\u0947\u0930\u0940 (mine &#8211; masculine)<\/p>\n<p>Correct: <strong>\u092e\u0947\u0930\u093e<\/strong> \u092c\u0947\u091f\u093e \u0914\u0930 \u092c\u0947\u091f\u0940 \u0906\u091c \u0926\u093f\u0932\u094d\u0932\u0940 \u0917\u090f \u0939\u0948\u0902\u0964<\/p>\n<p>In case of the interrogative sentences, we use masculine for verb declination.<\/p>\n<p>Incorrect: \u0926\u0947\u0916\u094b \u0915\u094c\u0928 <strong>\u0906\u0908<\/strong> \u0939\u0948?<\/p>\n<p>Here, &#8220;\u0915\u094c\u0928&#8221; (who) is used masculine and hence, the use of feminine verb ending, \u0906\u0908 (came &#8211; feminine) is wrong. It must be \u0906\u092f\u093e (came &#8211; masculine).<\/p>\n<p>Correct: \u0926\u0947\u0916\u094b \u0915\u094c\u0928 <strong>\u0906\u092f\u093e<\/strong> \u0939\u0948?<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Grammatical Case<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the following sentence, the case is incorrect. Because of this, the verb add the end is wrong as well.<\/p>\n<p>Incorrect: \u092a\u094d\u0930\u0927\u093e\u0928\u093e\u091a\u093e\u0930\u094d\u092f \u0905\u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u092a\u0915 \u0915\u094b <strong>\u092c\u0941\u0932\u093e\u090f<\/strong>\u0964<\/p>\n<p>This can be corrected by adding &#8220;\u0928\u0947&#8221; to the sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Correct: \u092a\u094d\u0930\u0927\u093e\u0928\u093e\u091a\u093e\u0930\u094d\u092f<strong> \u0928\u0947<\/strong> \u0905\u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u092a\u0915 \u0915\u094b <strong>\u092c\u0941\u0932\u093e\u092f\u093e<\/strong>\u0964<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Grammatical Voice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some of the mistakes can come up because of incorrect grammatical voice used. In the following sentence, we are not sure if it is in active voice or passive voice.<\/p>\n<p>Incorrect: \u092a\u0941\u0932\u093f\u0938 <strong>\u0928\u0947<\/strong> \u091a\u094b\u0930 \u0915\u093e \u092a\u0940\u091b\u093e \u0915\u093f\u092f\u093e \u0917\u092f\u093e\u0964<\/p>\n<p>Here,&#8221;\u0928\u0947&#8221; must be replaced with &#8220;\u0915\u0947 \u0926\u094d\u0935\u093e\u0930\u093e&#8221; (through)<\/p>\n<p>Correct: \u092a\u0941\u0932\u093f\u0938 <strong>\u0915\u0947 \u0926\u094d\u0935\u093e\u0930\u093e<\/strong> \u091a\u094b\u0930 \u0915\u093e \u092a\u0940\u091b\u093e \u0915\u093f\u092f\u093e \u0917\u092f\u093e\u0964<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Use of Unnecessary Words<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometime, a sentence may be meaningful but may use unnecessary words. This is shown in the following sentence:<\/p>\n<p>Incorrect: \u092e\u0948\u0902 <strong>\u0930\u0935\u093f\u0935\u093e\u0930 \u0915\u0947 \u0926\u093f\u0928<\/strong> \u0915\u094b \u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901 \u092a\u0939\u0941\u0902\u091a \u091c\u093e\u090a\u0902\u0917\u093e\u0964 (I will reach here on the day of Sunday)<\/p>\n<p>\u0930\u0935\u093f\u0935\u093e\u0930 \u0915\u0947 \u0926\u093f\u0928 (Ravivar ka din &#8211; day of Sunday) is wrong as &#8220;\u0930\u0935\u093f\u0935\u093e\u0930&#8221; (Ravivar &#8211; Sunday) alone is sufficient so repeating assertion with \u0915\u0947 \u0926\u093f\u0928 must be avoided.<\/p>\n<p>Correct: \u092e\u0948\u0902 <strong>\u0930\u0935\u093f\u0935\u093e\u0930<\/strong> \u0915\u094b \u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901 \u092a\u0939\u0941\u0902\u091a \u091c\u093e\u090a\u0902\u0917\u093e\u0964 (I will reach here on Sunday)<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Use of Incorrect Words <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following sentence could be tricky as you might find it write but in Hindi, the usage of words is specific to a situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u0935\u0939 \u092e\u0947\u0930\u0947 <strong>\u0936\u092c\u094d\u0926\u094b\u0902<\/strong> \u092a\u0930 \u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0928 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 \u0926\u0947\u0924\u093e\u0964 (Literally: He doesn&#8217;t pay attention to my words)<\/p>\n<p>In Hindi, &#8220;\u092c\u093e\u0924 \u092a\u0930 \u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0928 \u0926\u0947\u0928\u093e&#8221; is a acceptable and valid usage. The usage of &#8220;\u0936\u092c\u094d\u0926\u094b\u0902 \u092a\u0930 \u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0928 \u0926\u0947\u0928\u093e&#8221; is never used. Hence, the sentence should be,<\/p>\n<p>\u0935\u0939 \u092e\u0947\u0930\u0940 <strong>\u092c\u093e\u0924<\/strong> \u092a\u0930 \u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0928 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 \u0926\u0947\u0924\u093e\u0964 (Literally: He doesn&#8217;t pay attention to my saying\/thought\/suggestion etc)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is quite usual for an beginner in the learning process of any language to make mistake here and there.
