Transitive verbs are those verbs which use a subject and one or more objects.<\/p>\n<p>In Hindi, the transitive verbs can be differentiated from the intransitive verbs by &#8220;\u0915\u094d\u092f\u093e&#8221; (Kya &#8211; What), \u0915\u093f\u0938 (Kis &#8211; What\/Who) and \u0915\u093f\u0938\u0915\u094b (Kisko &#8211; Whom).<\/p>\n<p>Questions can be formed by \u00a0<strong>\u0915\u094c\u0928<\/strong>\u00a0+\u00a0<strong>\u0915\u0930\u094d\u092e<\/strong> +\u00a0<strong>\u0915\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f\u093e<\/strong>\u00a0? &#8211; Who + verb? . The answer is the\u00a0\u0915\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093e (Karta) &#8211; Subject.<\/p>\n<p>And, \u00a0<strong>\u0915\u094d\u092f\u093e\u00a0<\/strong>+\u00a0<strong>\u0915\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f\u093e<\/strong>\u00a0? &#8211; Who + verb? or <strong>\u0915\u094d\u092f\u093e<\/strong> +\u00a0<strong>\u0915\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f\u093e<\/strong>? &#8211; Whom + verb? &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0The answer is the \u0915\u0930\u094d\u092e\u00a0(Karm) &#8211; Object.<\/p>\n<p>This is explained with some examples. The subject and objects are marked in blue and red color respectively.<\/p>\n<p>1. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u0938\u0940\u0924\u093e<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092b\u0932<\/span> \u0916\u093e \u0930\u0939\u0940 \u0939\u0948\u0964 &#8211; Sita is eating fruit.<\/p>\n<p>When you will ask, \u0915\u094d\u092f\u093e \u0916\u093e \u0930\u0939\u0940 \u0939\u0948? What is she eating?<\/p>\n<p>You will get the answer, &#8220;\u092b\u0932&#8221; (Phal &#8211; Fruit). This the object that the transitive verb, \u0916\u093e \u0930\u0939\u0940 \u0939\u0948 (to eat) is using.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly,<\/p>\n<p>2. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u0930\u093e\u0915\u0947\u0936<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092a\u0941\u0938\u094d\u0924\u0915<\/span> \u0932\u093f\u0916 \u0930\u0939\u093e \u0939\u0948\u0964 &#8211; Rakesh is writing a book.<\/p>\n<p>When you will ask, \u0915\u094d\u092f\u093e \u0932\u093f\u0916 \u0930\u0939\u093e \u0939\u0948 ? \u00a0&#8211; What is he writing?<\/p>\n<p>You will get the answer, &#8220;\u092a\u0941\u0938\u094d\u0924\u0915&#8221; (Pustak &#8211; Book). This the object that the transitive verb, \u0932\u093f\u0916 \u0930\u0939\u093e \u0939\u0948 (to write) is using.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, we can find the objects in the following sentence where the transitive verbs are used.<\/p>\n<p>3. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u0938\u094b\u0939\u0928<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092a\u0924\u0902\u0917<\/span> \u0909\u0921\u093c\u093e \u0930\u0939\u093e \u0939\u0948\u0964<br \/>\n4. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u0939\u0947\u092e\u0902\u0924<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u091a\u093e\u092f<\/span> \u092a\u0940 \u0930\u0939\u093e \u0939\u0948\u0964<\/p>\n<p>Transitive verbs in Hindi are of two types. These are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. \u090f\u0915\u0915\u0930\u094d\u092e\u0915 \u0915\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f\u093e &#8211; Ekkarmak Kriya<\/strong><br \/>\nThese transitive verbs require only one objects. Some of the examples are:<\/p>\n<p>1. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u092c\u091a\u094d\u091a\u0947<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092b\u0941\u091f\u092c\u093e\u0932<\/span> \u0916\u0947\u0932 \u0930\u0939\u0947 \u0939\u0948\u0964 &#8211; Here, \u092b\u0941\u091f\u092c\u093e\u0932 (Futball &#8211; Football) is the object.<\/p>\n<p>2. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u092e\u093e\u0924\u093e<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092c\u091f\u0928<\/span> \u0932\u0917\u093e \u0930\u0939\u0940 \u0939\u0948\u0964- Here, \u092c\u091f\u0928 (Batan &#8211; Button) is the object.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. \u0926\u094d\u0935\u093f\u0915\u0930\u094d\u092e\u0915 \u0915\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f\u093e &#8211; Dvikarmak Kriya<\/strong><br \/>\nThese transitive verbs require two objects. Some of the examples are:<\/p>\n<p>1. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u092e\u093e\u0924\u093e<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092a\u0941\u0924\u094d\u0930<\/span> \u0915\u094b <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u0926\u0942\u0927<\/span> \u092a\u093f\u0932\u093e\u0924\u0940 \u0939\u0948\u0964 &#8211; Here, \u092a\u0941\u0924\u094d\u0930 (Putr &#8211; Son) and \u0926\u0942\u0927 (Dudh &#8211; Milk) are the objects.<\/p>\n<p>2. <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u092d\u093e\u0908<\/span> \u0928\u0947 <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092c\u0939\u0928<\/span> \u0915\u094b <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u092a\u0924\u094d\u0930<\/span> \u0932\u093f\u0916\u093e\u0964\u00a0&#8211; Here, \u092c\u0939\u0928 (Behan &#8211; Sister) and \u092a\u0924\u094d\u0930 (Patr &#8211; Letter) are the objects.<\/p>\n<p>If you will see the above mentioned examples in this post, you will find that the subject comes at the beginning of the Hindi sentences.
