The suffix \u091a\u093e\u0939\u093f\u090f<\/strong>\u00a0can be used to impart desire :<\/p>\n

I want tea – \u092e\u0941\u091d\u0947\u00a0\u091a\u093e\u092f\u00a0\u091a\u093e\u0939\u093f\u090f<\/strong><\/p>\n

It can also be used to impart a meaning of “should” or “ought to” :<\/p>\n

I should go – \u092e\u0941\u091d\u0947 \u091c\u093e\u0928\u093e\u00a0\u091a\u093e\u0939\u093f\u090f<\/strong><\/p>\n

To form the meaning “should” the suffix \u0928\u093e<\/strong> will be attached to the root verb. Then \u091a\u093e\u0939\u093f\u090f <\/strong>will come after it.<\/p>\n

When \u091a\u093e\u0939\u0924\u093e<\/strong> is attached to a verb, it can impart the meaning of “like” :<\/p>\n

I like you – \u092e\u0948\u0902\u00a0\u0906\u092a\u0915\u094b\u00a0\u091a\u093e\u0939\u0924\u093e-\u091a\u093e\u0939\u0924\u0940\u00a0\u0939\u0942\u0901<\/strong><\/p>\n

When \u091a\u0941\u0915\u093e<\/strong> is an auxillary verb attached to a main verb. It can impart the meaning of something that has already been completed :<\/p>\n

I have already done it – \u092e\u0948\u0902 \u092f\u0939\u00a0\u0915\u0930\u00a0\u091a\u0941\u0915\u093e-\u091a\u0941\u0915\u0940\u00a0\u0939\u0942\u0901<\/strong><\/p>\n

The suffix \u0938\u0915\u093e<\/strong> can be used to impart the meaning, “to be able” or “can” :<\/p>\n

He can go – \u0935\u0939\u00a0\u091c\u093e\u00a0\u0938\u0915\u093e<\/strong><\/p>\n

The suffix \u0915\u0930<\/strong> can be used to denote the gerund :<\/p>\n

Don’t drive after drinking – \u092a\u0940\u0915\u0930\u00a0\u0917\u093e\u0921\u093c\u0940\u00a0\u092e\u0924\u00a0\u091a\u0932\u093e\u0907\u090f<\/strong><\/p>\n

The suffix \u0939\u0941\u0906<\/strong> can also be used to express the gerund. However this suffix goes further. It indicates that an action occured while another action is occuring :<\/p>\n
