It is impossible to cover all of dishes so I will show you only some of the most popular traditional Indian dishes, desert. drinks etc which are available in Indian restaurant in India and abroad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Starters &#8211; Appetizers &#8211; Snacks<\/strong><br \/>\n\u092a\u093e\u092a\u095c (<em>Paapad<\/em>) &#8211; traditional rice or lentil based cracker. Usually enjoyed with Chutney.<br \/>\n\u092a\u0915\u094b\u095c\u093e (<em>Pakora<\/em>) &#8211; a deep fried snack with vegetable or bread or fish or meat.<br \/>\n\u092a\u0915\u094b\u095c\u0940 (<em>Pakori<\/em>) &#8211; smaller version of <em>Pakora<\/em><br \/>\n\u091b\u094b\u0932\u0947 \u092d\u091f\u0942\u0930\u0947 (pl. <em>Chole Bhature<\/em>). Deep fried bread with cooked Chickpeas.<br \/>\n\u0938\u092e\u094b\u0938\u0947 (pl. <em>Samose<\/em> &#8211; ) \/ \u0938\u092e\u094b\u0938\u093e (sin. Samosa) &#8211; A very popular deep fried stuffed snacks.<br \/>\n\u0926\u0939\u0940 (<em>Dahi<\/em>) &#8211; Yoghurt &#8211; Many people take yoghurt with their meal in India during summer.<br \/>\n\u091a\u091f\u0928\u0940 (<em>Chutney<\/em>). Chutney. Many varieties are available. Coconut, Mint, Red Chilli Chutney (very hot!) are very popular.<br \/>\n\u0905\u091a\u093e\u0930 (<em>Achaar<\/em>) &#8211; Pickle. Many varieties of pickles are available but Mango pickle is very popular.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Traditional Drinks:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u0932\u0938\u094d\u0938\u0940 (<em>Lassi<\/em>) &#8211; a traditional yogurt-based drink which is usually preferred during summer season. This is usually taken during meal.<br \/>\n\u091a\u093e\u092f (<em>Chai<\/em>). Black tea with milk and sugar is taken at the end of the meal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Breads:<\/strong><br \/>\nNative Hindi population wheat based flat soft breads. These flat breads are always freshly made and served with the cooked dishes. Some of the varieties of these breads which you will find in the restaurant are made on Frying Pan &#8211; \u0924\u0935\u093e (<em>Tawaa<\/em>) or Clay Oven &#8211; \u0924\u0902\u0926\u0942\u0930 (<em>Tandoor<\/em>):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Frying Pan &#8211; \u0924\u0935\u093e (<em>Tawaa<\/em>):<\/strong><br \/>\n\u0930\u094b\u091f\u0940 (<em>Roti<\/em>) &#8211; This one is most common and usually cooked daily in Indian household.<br \/>\n\u0930\u0942\u092e\u093e\u0932\u0940 \u0930\u094b\u091f\u0940 (<em>Rumali Roti<\/em>) &#8211; This bread is big, soft, and almost as thin as Roomal (Handkerchief). Therefore, the name Roomali Roti.<br \/>\n\u092a\u0930\u093e\u0902\u0920\u093e (<em>Parantha<\/em>)\u00a0 &#8211; Stuffed flat bread which are made with variety of stuffing. Many variety exist.<br \/>\n\u091a\u093f\u0915\u0928 \u091f\u093f\u0915\u094d\u0915\u093e (<em>Chicken Tikka<\/em>) &#8211; boneless marinated Chicken cooked in Tandoori oven.<br \/>\n\u0938\u0940\u0902\u0916 \u0915\u092c\u093e\u092c (<em>Sinkh Kabaab<\/em>) &#8211; Roasted Grilled Beef<br \/>\n\u092c\u091f\u0930 \u091a\u093f\u0915\u0928 (Butter Chicken) &#8211; Curry based Chicken dish.<br \/>\n\u0915\u095c\u093e\u0939\u0940 \u091a\u093f\u0915\u0928 (<em>Kadahi<\/em> Chicken) &#8211; Curry based Chicken dish which is extra fried in a big frying pan (\u0915\u095c\u093e\u0939\u0940 &#8211; Kadahi)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u091a\u093e\u0935\u0932 (Chawal) &#8211; Rice.<br \/>\nTip: Just ask for traditional <em>Basmati <\/em> Rice, the traditional Indian rice which are renowned for their taste and aroma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Vegetarian Dishes:<\/strong><br \/>\nMany Indians are vegetarian because of their religion (Hinduism) and they prefers vegetarian dishes. All Indian resturant cooks many vegetarian dishes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u0926\u093e\u0932 (Daal) &#8211; Lentil with traditional spices, onions, tomatoes, garlic etc. Indian loves lentils.
