To keep our body hydrated during hot and humid summer, we tend to resort to our beloved traditional drinks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Let me show you these traditional drinks, which are prepared by Indians since centuries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u091c\u0932 \u091c\u0940\u0930\u093e\u00a0 &#8211; Jal Jeera<\/strong><br \/>\nIn Hindi, &#8220;Jal&#8221; means water and &#8220;Jeera&#8221; means cumin. Jal Jeera is a traditional drink of north India which usually consists of cumin, ginger, black pepper, mint, black salt, some fruit powder, and chili or hot pepper powder. It is sometimes served as an appetizer. During summer (\u0917\u0930\u094d\u092e\u0940 &#8211; Garmi), many roadside shops (\u0926\u0941\u0915\u093e\u0928 &#8211; Dukan) could be seen selling Jal Jeera drinks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0906\u092e \u092a\u0928\u094d\u0928\u093e &#8211; Aam Panna<\/strong><br \/>\nAam Panna is an traditional drink of south India. It is very popular (\u0932\u094b\u0915-\u092a\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f &#8211; Lok Priya) because it is prepared from mango which is favorite fruit of most of Indians and abundantly available during summer season.\u00a0 This drink is prepared with raw mango pulp, sugar and traditional spices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0920\u0902\u0921\u093e\u0908\u00a0 &#8211; Thandai<\/strong><br \/>\nThandai, which comes from the word &#8220;Thanda&#8221; meaning cold, is a cold drink prepared with a mixture (\u092e\u093f\u0936\u094d\u0930\u0923 &#8211; Misran) of almonds, fennel seeds, watermelon kernel, rose petals, pepper, vetiver seeds, cardamom, saffron, milk, and sugar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0932\u0938\u094d\u0938\u0940\u00a0 &#8211; Lassi<\/strong><br \/>\nLassi is a very popular traditional drink of north India. It is a prepared usually from yogurt, water and spices.
