Out of these 3 adverbs, in this post I will revisit the adverbs of quantity in Hindi with some more examples.<\/p>\n<p>As we know that the words which give the measure (quantity) of action are called Adverb of Manner. In Hindi, it is called\u00a0\u0930\u0940\u0924\u093f\u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 \u0915\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f\u093e \u0935\u093f\u0937\u0947\u0936\u0923 (Riteevaachak Kriya Visheshan).<\/p>\n<p>In Hindi, those words that tell us the method of the action are known as Adverb of Manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u0909\u0926\u093e\u0939\u0930\u0923 &#8211; Udaaharan &#8211; Example:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u0935\u0947 \u0939\u092e\u093e\u0930\u0940 \u0915\u0939\u093e\u0928\u0940 \u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0928\u092a\u0942\u0930\u094d\u0935\u0915 \u0938\u0941\u0928 \u0930\u0939\u0947 \u0925\u0947\u0964 Veh hamari kahani dhayanpurvak sun rahe the. (They were listening to our story carefully.)<br \/>\n2. \u092e\u093e\u0901 \u0928\u0947 \u092a\u0941\u0924\u094d\u0930\u0940 \u0915\u094b \u092d\u0932\u0940 \u092d\u093e\u0901\u0924\u093f \u0938\u092e\u091d\u093e \u0926\u093f\u092f\u093e \u0925\u093e\u0964 Maa ne putri ko bhalibhati samjha diya tha. (Mother made her daughter clearly understood.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The underlined words, \u0927\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0928\u092a\u0942\u0930\u094d\u0935\u0915 (carefully) and \u092d\u0932\u0940 \u092d\u093e\u0901\u0924\u093f (clearly) are adverb of manner as they tell us the manner of action. Similarly,\u00a0 \u0927\u0940\u0930\u0947- \u0927\u0940\u0930\u0947 (slowly),\u00a0 \u0938\u0939\u0938\u093e (suddenly), \u0938\u091a (truth), \u0924\u0947\u091c (fast), \u091c\u0948\u0938\u0947 (like), \u0935\u0948\u0938\u0947 (like wise) are also adverb of manner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In Hindi, \u0930\u0940\u0924\u093f\u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 \u0915\u094d\u0930\u093f\u092f\u093e \u0935\u093f\u0937\u0947\u0936\u0923\u00a0 (Adverb of manner) is divided into 9 types, according to what they tell about manner of action :<\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>\u0935\u093f\u0927\u093f \u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Method) <\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u0927\u0940\u0930\u0947-\u0927\u0940\u0930\u0947 (slowly), \u0939\u093e\u0925\u094b\u0902 \u0939\u093e\u0925 (on hand), \u0938\u0941\u0916\u092a\u0942\u0930\u094d\u0935\u0915 (happily), \u0936\u0940\u0918\u094d\u0930 (urgently)<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>\u0928\u093f\u0937\u094d\u091a\u092f\u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Decisiveness)<\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u091c\u0930\u0942\u0930 (sure), \u0928\u093f: \u0938\u0928\u094d\u0926\u0947\u0939 (without doubt)<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>\u0905\u0928\u093f\u0937\u094d\u091a\u092f\u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Indecisiveness)<\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u0905\u0915\u094d\u0938\u0930 (occasionally), \u0915\u0926\u093e\u091a\u093f\u0924 (never), \u0936\u093e\u092f\u0926 (maybe), \u0938\u0902\u092d\u0935\u0924: (possibly) \u0964<\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>\u0939\u0947\u0924\u0941 \u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Purpose)<\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u0905\u0924\u090f\u0935 (at-last), \u0907\u0938\u0932\u093f\u090f (therefore), \u0915\u093f\u0938 \u0932\u093f\u090f (for what), \u0915\u094d\u092f\u094b\u0902 (why)<\/p>\n<p>5. <strong>\u0928\u093f\u0936\u0947\u0927\u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Prohibition)<\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 (no), \u092e\u0924 (don\u2019t), \u0928 (don\u2019t\/no), \u0915\u092d\u0940 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 (never)<\/p>\n<p>6. <strong>\u092a\u094d\u0930\u0937\u094d\u0928 \u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Interrogative)<\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u0915\u0948\u0938\u0947 (how), \u0915\u094d\u092f\u094b\u0902 (why)<\/p>\n<p>7. <strong>\u0938\u094d\u0935\u0940\u0915\u0943\u0924\u093f\u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Permission)<\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u0939\u093e\u0901 (yes), \u091c\u0940 (yes), \u0938\u091a (truth), \u092c\u093f\u0932\u094d\u0915\u0941\u0932 (sure), \u0920\u0940\u0915 (right)<\/p>\n<p>8. <strong>\u0905\u0935\u0927\u093e\u0930\u0923 \u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Concept)<\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u092d\u0930 (full), \u0924\u0915 (up to, by), \u092e\u093e\u0924\u094d\u0930 (only)<\/p>\n<p>9. <strong>\u0906\u0915\u0938\u094d\u092e\u093f\u0915\u0924\u093e\u0935\u093e\u091a\u0915 (Suddenness) <\/strong><br \/>\ne.g. \u0905\u091a\u093e\u0928\u0915 (suddenly), \u0938\u0939\u0938\u093e (at sudden)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Hindi, there are three types of adverbs as I have mentioned in my post on Adverbs in Hindi.
