It is held every third year at one of the four places by rotation: Haridwar, Allahabad (Prayaga), Nashik and Ujjain. This year, the Kumbh Mela is celebrated in Trimbakeshwar, Nashik.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">According to Hindu mythology, it is said that drops of nectar fell from the Kumbh (Vessel)\u00a0 carried by gods after the sea was churned to the rivers.
