This set me thinking about the variety of tools <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u092f\u0902\u0924\u094d\u0930<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>yuntra)<\/i>\u00a0and utensils <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u092c\u0930\u094d\u0924\u0928<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>bur-tan)\u00a0<\/i>that one uses in the kitchen, and brought me to my next blog topic: things around the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>The <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u0915\u095d\u093e\u0908<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>kadhaai<\/i>) is a deep round-bottomed vessel usually used for deep frying <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u0924\u0932\u0928\u0947 \u0915\u0947 \u0932\u093f\u090f<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> <i>(talne ke liye).<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><\/i>A <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u0921\u094b\u0908<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>doe-ee) <\/i>is a ladle. If the plate is not compartmentalized, different dishes may often be served in stainless steel cups\/bowls or <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u0915\u091f\u094b\u0930\u0940<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>katori<\/i>). The cooking flame is called <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u0906\u0902\u091a<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>aanch<\/i>). <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u0927\u0940\u092e\u0940 \u0906\u0902\u091a<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>dheemi aanch) <\/i>or low flame and <span class=\"shortcode-highlight\">\u0924\u0947\u095b \u0906\u0902\u091a<\/span><!--\/.shortcode-highlight--> (<i>taze aanch<\/i>) or high flame are terms you will hear often in cooking shows.<\/p>\n<p>And what do you do when you need to pick up a hot \u0915\u095d\u093e\u0908 off the stove?
