As I was out taking a walk under a rain-cloud laden sky this morning in Mumbai, I passed a vibrant streetside display of garden planters for sale. There were terracotta planters of a variety of sizes, shapes, and finishes from plain earthen to colorful patterns. The pots were handmade, probably by a local artisan or kumhaar. <\/em>\u00a0A \u0915\u0941\u092e\u094d\u0939\u093e\u0930<\/span> \u00a0is a traditional potter who is skilled in making all things earthen from utensils and pots for cooking to storage and planters.<\/p>\n
