However, once the mango\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><b>\u0906\u092e<\/b><\/span>\u00a0season\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><b>\u092e\u094c\u0938\u092e<\/b><\/span>\u00a0(<i>mausam)\u00a0<\/i>or\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><b>\u0906\u092e \u0915\u093e \u092e\u094c\u0938\u092e<\/b><\/span>\u00a0(<i>aam ka mausam<\/i>) ebbs, the sun gets hotter and the hot summer wind\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><b>\u0932\u0942<\/b><\/span>\u00a0(<i>loo<\/i>) gets unbearable.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>People resort to a variety of means for relief from the sweltering\u00a0<b><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u0924\u092a\u0924\u0940<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>(<i>tapati<\/i>)<br \/>\ntemperatures\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><b>\u0924\u093e\u092a\u092e\u093e\u0928<\/b><\/span>\u00a0(<i>taapmaan<\/i>)\u00a0&#8230; noisy ceiling fans\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><b>\u092a\u0902\u0916\u0947<\/b><\/span>\u00a0 (<i>punkhay<\/i>) whirr at top speed in homes with electricity\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u092c\u093f\u091c\u0932\u0940<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0(<i>bijli<\/i>); those more affording enjoy the cool comfort of equally noisy air-conditioners (also referred to as aircon or a\/c).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In banks, restaurants, and public places, people jostle and try to grab a spot near a large oscillating fan angled on a corner wall.
