The uniqueness of Indian stringed instruments has lent itself to beautiful renditions of Indian music.<\/p>\n<p>The Sitar (<strong>\u0938\u093f\u0924\u093e\u0930<\/strong>) is a stringed instrument with a long neck made of wood and several bridges made of animal bone. The strings are played with a pick; while the rest of the sitar rests on the player\u2019s right knee.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=O3RPdZxMF_8&#038;feature=related\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=O3RPdZxMF_8&amp;feature=related<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sur Bahar (<strong>\u0938\u0941\u0930 \u092c\u0939\u093e\u0930<\/strong>) looks like a sitar, but is actually quite a different looking instrument that emits a different sound from the sitar.
