We will be taking a look at a high tech music festival \u0909\u0924\u094d\u0938\u0935 that draws international creatives.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cntraveller.in\/story\/rajasthan-alsisar-magnetic-fields-has-a-new-festival-experience-in-2021\/\">Magnetic Fields Festival<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>It is a boutique <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magneticfields.in\/\">music festival <\/a>that occurs over 3 days in India during December. It takes place in in the Shekawati region of Rajasthan. This region is located on the ancient silk route \u0930\u0947\u0936\u092e \u092e\u093e\u0930\u094d\u0917.<\/p>\n<p>Abhimanyu Alsisar from the Royal family of Alsisar started this festival in 2013 at the Alsisar Mahal.<\/p>\n<p>This festival combines \u091c\u094b\u0921\u093c\u0924\u0940 all that Rajasthan has to offer with international creative \u0905\u0902\u0924\u0930\u0930\u093e\u0937\u094d\u091f\u094d\u0930\u0940\u092f \u0930\u091a\u0928\u093e\u0924\u094d\u092e\u0915\u00a0 talent.\u00a0 Musicians from all over the world, especially those who specialize \u0935\u093f\u0936\u0947\u0937\u091c\u094d\u091e \u092c\u0928\u0928\u093e in underground music converge on the Mahal to enjoy 3 days of creativity, music, dance, yoga and wellness. The palace also organizes a treasure hunt \u0916\u091c\u093e\u0928\u0947 \u0915\u0940 \u0916\u094b\u091c within its walls.<\/p>\n<h2>Alsisar Mahal<\/h2>\n<p>The festival is conducted on the grounds and inside the famed Alsisar Mahal that is situated in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alsisarmahal.com\/destination-activities\">Shekhawati<\/a>, Rajasthan. The village is a medieval village \u092e\u0927\u094d\u092f\u0915\u093e\u0932\u0940\u0928 \u0917\u093e\u0902\u0935 with beautiful Havelis. Alsisar Mahal is originally a historic fort \u0910\u0924\u093f\u0939\u093e\u0938\u093f\u0915 \u0915\u093f\u0932\u093e that was built in the 17th century. It features many buildings adorned richly with frescoes, courtyards, and abundant \u092a\u094d\u0930\u091a\u0941\u0930 desert rich with its flora and fauna.<\/p>\n<h2>History of the Alsisar Mahal<\/h2>\n<p>Alsisar Thakur Samrath Singhji who was the great-grandson \u092e\u0939\u093e\u0928 \u092a\u094b\u0924\u093e of Raja Shardul Singh of Jhunjunu, captured \u092a\u0915\u0921\u093c\u0947 the fort in 1757. During the British Raj, the British bombarded the fort in their attempt to curb the power of the mighty Shekawats. The Shekawats were known to be fearless warriors \u0928\u093f\u0921\u0930 \u092f\u094b\u0926\u094d\u0927\u093e.<\/p>\n<p>The mahal was rebuilt in 1954. It was remodeled and renovated from 2000 to 2006 when it opened its doors to the public as a heritage site.<\/p>\n<h2>How to get there<\/h2>\n<p>There are many ways to get to the Alsisar Mahal from the capital, New Delhi &#8211; train, bus, taxi, night train, or private car.
