Some of them are clear just by looking up the individual words, but some, as she mentioned, might not make sense even to a native speaker. There might be some errors in typing them up, I noticed that the text editing program had auto-corrected some words.<\/p>\n<p>I was told that it&#8217;s a really good idea to leave more things without translations so as to test your Icelandic, so I&#8217;ll be doing that unless someone complains.<\/p>\n<p>Freyja (brand): (tiny eggs &#8211; these are eggs that have little more inside than the proverb. You could buy them in packs of six I think it was.)<br \/>\nBetra er a\u00f0 r\u00f3a en reka undan. If you&#8217;re curious about the price of food or if you want to know what people might be eating for holidays, then I&#8217;d look at something like this to see what they&#8217;re marking down. They also have recipes, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bonus.is\/uppskrift\/paskalamb\/\">and right now there is one for &#8220;Easter Lamb&#8221;<\/a>. I can translate this recipe if anyone wants me to (or any other recipe you may have).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i958.photobucket.com\/albums\/ae69\/JuicyPuffin\/Living%20in%20Iceland\/P1260473.jpg\" aria-label=\"P1260473\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 400px\"  alt=\"\" \/ src=\"http:\/\/i958.photobucket.com\/albums\/ae69\/JuicyPuffin\/Living%20in%20Iceland\/P1260473.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The holiday drink that I might have mentioned at Christmas time is a drink of half orange soda, and half malt. You can buy it pre-mixed or separated and people drink it especially during holidays. <em>Malt in this case is non-alcoholic<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t manage to take many photos of things this year (my wife doesn&#8217;t like me taking photos inside stores so I had to stop that, and so I don&#8217;t carry my camera with me everywhere anymore), so the following are all photos from last year:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i958.photobucket.com\/albums\/ae69\/JuicyPuffin\/Living%20in%20Iceland\/P1160466.jpg\" aria-label=\"P1160466\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 400px\"  alt=\"\" \/ src=\"http:\/\/i958.photobucket.com\/albums\/ae69\/JuicyPuffin\/Living%20in%20Iceland\/P1160466.jpg\"><\/a><br \/>\nGiant Easter egg inside Kringlan, the mall. The candy inside also tends to have more licorice-flavoured types, although not entirely. The friend who told me about it had work at the time, otherwise I may have gone with her.
