Continuamos hoje com o uso do gerund <\/em>(-ing) ou infitive <\/em>(to) com alguns verbos que trazem mudan\u00e7a no significado.<\/p>\n

Try <\/strong>– tentar, experimentar<\/p>\n

to try to do something<\/em> – tentar fazer algo, geralmente envolve a ideia de esfor\u00e7o para obter um resultado.<\/p>\n

I was so sleepy, I tried to<\/strong> keep my eyes open but I couldn’t.<\/em> – Eu estava com muito sono, tentei manter meus olhos abertos mas n\u00e3o consegui.
\nThe window was jammed, I tried to <\/strong>open it but it was impossible.<\/em> – A janela estava emperrada, tentei abri-la mas foi imposs\u00edvel.

\nShe stopped taking<\/strong> walks when her knee was injured. <\/em>– Ela parou de fazer caminhada quando machucou seu joelho.
