A barber gave a haircut to a priest one day. The priest tried to pay for the haircut but the barber refused saying, “I cannot accept money from you, father, for you are a good man – you do God’s work.”<\/em>
\nUm barbeiro faz um corte de cabelo num padre um dia. O padre tentou pagar o corte mas o barbeiro recusou dizendo, “N\u00e3o posso aceitar dinheiro do senhor, padre, pois o senhor \u00e9 um bom homem – o senhor faz o trabalho de Deus.”<\/p>\n

The next morning the barber found a dozen bibles at the door to his shop.<\/em>
\nNo outro dia de manh\u00e3 o barbeiro encontrou uma d\u00fazia de b\u00edblias na porta da sua barbearia.<\/p>\n

A policeman came to the barber for a haircut, and again the barber refused payment saying, “I cannot accept money from you, for you are a good man – you protect the public.”<\/em>
\nUm policial foi ao barbeiro para um corte de cabelo e novamente o barbeiro recusou o pagamento dizendo, “N\u00e3o posso aceitar dinheiro do senhor, pois o senhor \u00e9 um bom homem – o senhor protege a popula\u00e7\u00e3o.”<\/p>\n

The next morning the barber found a dozen doughnuts at the door to his shop.<\/em>
\nNo outro dia de manh\u00e3 o barbeiro encontrou uma d\u00fazia de rosquinhas na porta da sua barbearia.<\/p>\n

A lawyer came to the barber for a haircut, and again the barber refused payment saying, “I cannot accept money from you, for you are a good man – you serve the justice system.”<\/em>
\nUm advogado foi \u00e0 barbearia para cortar o cabelo, e novamente o barbeiro recusou o pagamento, “N\u00e3o posso aceitar dinheiro do senhor, pois o senhor \u00e9 um bom homem – o senhor serve o sistema de justi\u00e7a.”<\/p>\n

The next morning the barber found a dozen more lawyers waiting for a haircut.<\/em>
\nNo outro dia de manh\u00e3 o barbeiro encontrou mais uma d\u00fazia de advogados querendo um corte de cabelo.<\/p>\n
