If you do not want to use alcohol, you may use <strong>rum flavoring<\/strong> (ess\u00eancia de rum), and you will <strong>just <\/strong>stir (mexer) it in with <strong>no flaming <\/strong>(sem flambar).<br \/>\nvanilla ice cream<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to make it<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Melt <\/strong>(derreta) \u00bd stick butter in a medium <strong>skillet <\/strong>(frigideira) over <strong>low to medium heat<\/strong> (fogo m\u00e9dio a baixo).<br \/>\n&#8211; Stir in \u00be cup light brown sugar and 2 <strong>teaspoons <\/strong>(colheres de ch\u00e1) ground cinnamon.<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Heat <\/strong>(aque\u00e7a) until the mixture is liquefied and smooth.<br \/>\nAdd 4 cups sliced bananas, and stir until all banana slices are <strong>thoroughly coated<\/strong> (completamente cobertas).<br \/>\n&#8211; Pour \u00bc cup rum over the top of the bananas.
