I found this short audio interview with him and I thought I&#8217;d share it with you. I also put a little English-English glossary to help you the the most difficult words and expressions, ok? I knew that music was in my life and I knew that music was my greatest joy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yeah.<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/ingles\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2011\/10\/josh-groban1.jpg\" aria-label=\"Josh Groban1 150x150\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-3836\"  alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/ingles\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2011\/10\/josh-groban1-150x150.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>But I wasn&#8217;t thinking about a job. I wasn&#8217;t thinking about that kind of thing. So &#8230;it wasn&#8217;t until I was maybe 14 that I started to realize, &#8220;<strong>Oh my gosh<\/strong>! Wouldn&#8217;t it be <strong>amazing <\/strong>if I could <strong>actually <\/strong>make a living doing what I love, making music.&#8221; And so it <strong>kind of<\/strong>, it found itself in different ways. I took acting, I loved theater, I loved the arts. I kept writing music, I did musical theater and opera. I just <strong>kinda<\/strong> did a lot of things and eventually it <strong>turned into<\/strong> kind of this last ten-year journey of what these CDs are and I can&#8217;t believe that it actually came true.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I see. Yeah, it sounds like&#8230; I mean, reading your biography, it sounds as if like it just happened <strong>rather than<\/strong> you actually planned in how to&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>It did just happen. I mean, there&#8217;s always preparation. I mean, luck is, you know, preparation meets opportunity.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yeah, definitely.<\/p>\n<p><em>And so, I think that in my preparation was that because I love music so much, I was constantly playing it. So, I was learning and I was taking voice lessons. I&#8217;m not <strong>self-taught<\/strong> vocally.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Right.<\/p>\n<p><em>So, I was doing it for the <strong>sheer <\/strong>love of it and then the opportunity came. And the door was open and I had to walk through the door. But then, every day after that happened, it&#8217;s been a wonderful learning experience.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Vocabulary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>kind of \/ kinda<\/strong> &#8211; used when you are talking about someone or something in a general way without being very exact or definite<br \/>\n<em>It kind of brings up an issue we talked about at the first meeting.<br \/>\nHe was kind of strange, but I liked him.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Oh my gosh!<\/strong> &#8211; used for showing that you are surprised or a little annoyed<\/p>\n<p><strong>amazing <\/strong>&#8211; very pleasant or enjoyable<br \/>\n<em>We had an amazing time in Thailand.<br \/>\nWhat an amazing meal!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>actually <\/strong>&#8211; used for emphasizing that something is surprising<br \/>\n<em>It looks as if Tony is actually doing some work.<br \/>\nSome patients actually got worse after receiving the treatment.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>turn into<\/strong> &#8211; to become<br \/>\n<em>Our vacation turned into a nightmare.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>rather than<\/strong> &#8211; used for saying that one thing is preferred to another or happens instead of another, instead of<br \/>\n<em>Doug chose to quit rather than admit that he\u2019d made a mistake.<br \/>\nRather than criticizing your husband, why not find out if there\u2019s something wrong?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>self-taught<\/strong> &#8211; people who are self-taught have learned particular skills by themselves, instead of being taught by someone<\/p>\n<p><strong>sheer <\/strong>&#8211; used for emphasizing the amount or degree of something<br \/>\n<em>Maya succeeded through sheer hard work.<br \/>\nWe were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of work.<br \/>\nIn the end, they overcame the enemy through sheer weight of numbers.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/ingles\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2011\/10\/Entrevista-Josh-Groban.mp3\">Download audio<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<img width=\"248\" height=\"203\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/ingles\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2011\/10\/josh-groban1.jpg\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image tmp-hide-img\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><p>Hi, there!
