Who <\/strong>– quem (sujeito)<\/p>\n

Who is that pretty girl?<\/em> – Quem \u00e9 aquela menina bonita?
\nWho told you about the accident?<\/em> – Quem te contou sobre o acidente?
\nWho was talking to you? <\/em>– Quem estava falando com voc\u00ea?<\/p>\n

Whom <\/strong>– quem (objeto)<\/p>\n

Whom did you meet at the party? <\/em>– Quem voc\u00ea conheceu na festa? (Voc\u00ea conheceu “algu\u00e9m” na festa.)
\nWith whom did she go?<\/em> – Com quem ela foi? (Ela foi com “algu\u00e9m”.)
\nWith whom did Paul play tennis?<\/em> – Com quem Paul jogou t\u00eanis? (Ele jogou t\u00eanis com “algu\u00e9m”.)<\/p>\n

O uso de whom se restringe \u00e0 linguagem formal. Na linguagem coloquial as frases acima ficam assim:<\/p>\n

Which <\/strong>– qual, quais (indica escolha)<\/p>\n

Which of those ladies is your mother?<\/em> – Qual daquelas senhoras \u00e9 sua m\u00e3e?
\nWhich are the easiest lessons?<\/em> – Quais s\u00e3o as li\u00e7\u00f5es mais f\u00e1ceis?
\nWhich shirt do you prefer: the blue one or the red one?<\/em> – Qual camisa voc\u00ea prefere: a azul ou a vermelha?<\/p>\n

What <\/strong>– o que, que<\/p>\n

What did you say?<\/em> – O que voc\u00ea disse?
