Eles reverenciavam a planta pois n\u00e3o tinha ra\u00edzes e ainda assim ficava verde durante os meses de inverno.<\/p>\n<p>Os antigos celtas acreditavam que o visco tinha poderes m\u00e1gicos de cura e usavam-no como ant\u00eddoto para veneno, infertilidade e para afastar esp\u00edritos mal\u00e9ficos. A planta tamb\u00e9m era vista como um s\u00edmbolo de paz e dizem que entre os romanos, os inimigos que se encontravam embaixo de um visco baixavam suas armas e se abra\u00e7avam.<\/p>\n<p>Hoje em dia os americanos t\u00eam o costume de se beijar quando se encontram ambos embaixo de um visco.
