O verbo to travel<\/strong> \u00e9, sim, viajar e tem algumas collocations <\/em>(combina\u00e7\u00f5es de palavras) bem interessantes. Check them out!<\/em><\/p>\n

travel abroad<\/em> – viajar para o exterior
\ntravel widely\/extensively<\/em> – viajar muito, por todo um lugar
\ntravel by train, car, etc.<\/em> – viajar de trem, carro, etc.
\ntravel the world, country<\/em> – viajar pelo mundo, pa\u00eds
\nwell-traveled<\/em> – pessoa que viaja muito e conhece v\u00e1rios lugares<\/p>\n

Podemos tamb\u00e9m usar o phrasal verb to go away<\/strong> para dizer “viajar” em ingl\u00eas. Usamos to go away<\/strong> quando a viagem \u00e9 curta, somente alguns dias ou uma pernoite. Veja alguns exemplos:<\/p>\n

A – What are the suitcase for?<\/em> (Para qu\u00ea a mala?)
\nB – I’m going away<\/strong> for a few days. My sister is getting married.<\/em> (Vou viajar uns dias. Minha irm\u00e3 vai se casar.)
\nA – Have a great trip!<\/em> (Fa\u00e7a uma \u00f3tima viagem.)<\/p>\n

A – Ruth, we’re going away<\/strong> for the weekend. Can you take care of the dog?<\/em> (Ruth, vamos viajar no fim de semana. Voc\u00ea pode cuidar do cachorro?)
\nB – Sure. No problem. <\/em>(Claro. Sem problema.)<\/p>\n

A – How was your weekend?<\/em> (Como foi seu fim de semana?)
\nB – It was great. We went away<\/strong> for a few days. <\/em>(Foi \u00f3timo. Fomos viajar uns dias.)<\/p>\n

Para dizer “fazer uma viagem” podemos usar:<\/p>\n

to take a trip<\/em>
\n to go on a trip<\/em>
\n to go (to)<\/em><\/p>\n

A – What are you going to do this weekend?<\/em> (O que voc\u00ea vai fazer este fim de semana?)
\nB – We’re going to go on a trip \/ take a trip \/ go<\/strong> to Disneyland.<\/em> (Vamos fazer uma viagem \u00e0 Disneil\u00e2ndia.)<\/p>\n

A – Where did they go?<\/em> (Aonde eles foram?)
\nB – They went on a trip \/ took a trip \/ went<\/strong> to Disneyland.<\/em> (Eles foram \u00e0 Disneil\u00e2ndia.)<\/p>\n

have a vacation, take a vacation<\/em> (tirar f\u00e9rias)
\nbe on vacation<\/em> (estar de f\u00e9rias)<\/p>\n

He looks relaxed because he had a long vacation<\/strong>.<\/em> (Ele est\u00e1 relaxado pois tirou longas f\u00e9rias.)
\nI’m so tired. I need to take a vacation<\/strong>. <\/em>(Estou t\u00e3o cansado. Preciso tirar f\u00e9rias.)
\nJennifer is on vacation <\/strong>for two weeks.<\/em> (Jennifer est\u00e1 de f\u00e9rias por duas semanas.)<\/p>\n
