\nHoje \u00e9 segunda-feira e vamos come\u00e7ar nossa semana com um par de palavras que apresenta um pouco de confus\u00e3o para os estudantes de ingl\u00eas: shadow <\/strong>e shade<\/strong>, que significam “sombra”.<\/p>\n

Shadow <\/strong>\u00e9 a sombra que n\u00f3s ou algo produzimos quando ficamos na frente de uma luz e \u00e9 a sombra que \u00e9 produzida numa superf\u00edcie s\u00f3lida e que se move junto com quem\/qu\u00ea a produz.<\/p>\n

I saw some shadows <\/strong>coming then I realized my father and my brother were approaching.
\nVi algumas sombras vindo ent\u00e3o percebi que eram meu pai e meu irm\u00e3o se aproximando.<\/em><\/p>\n

My son was following me like a shadow<\/strong>.
\nMeu filho estava me seguindo como uma sombra.<\/em><\/p>\n

He got scared when he saw his own shadow <\/strong>on the wall.
\nEle se assustou quando viu sua pr\u00f3pria sombra na parede.<\/em><\/p>\n

Look at my shadow<\/strong>! It’s taller than yours!

Shade <\/strong>\u00e9 a sombra quando nos protegemos do sol, num lugar coberto. Por exemplo, voc\u00ea est\u00e1 andando na rua e o sol est\u00e1 de rachar, ent\u00e3o voc\u00ea procura uma sombra, a shade. As shades <\/strong>n\u00e3o se movem tanto quanto as shadows<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s hot in here, let’s find some shade<\/strong>.
\nEst\u00e1 quente aqui, vamos achar uma sombra.<\/em><\/p>\n
