(Photo by Karen Neoh on Flickr)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Para aqueles que n\u00e3o se recordam (ou caso sua ficha ainda n\u00e3o tenha ca\u00eddo!), a origem vem das fichas telef\u00f4nicas inseridas em orelh\u00f5es, que ca\u00edam do aparelho no fim da liga\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hoje em dia, as fichas e cart\u00f5es foram abolidos, e nem mesmo o tal do orelh\u00e3o encontramos mais pelas ruas, j\u00e1 que os <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">smartphones <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">agora dominam. Mas o que importa foi que a express\u00e3o n\u00e3o se modificou ao longo dos anos e ainda \u00e9 empregada com frequ\u00eancia por todos n\u00f3s, independente da gera\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mas como expressar isso em ingl\u00eas? Existe uma tradu\u00e7\u00e3o ou maneira equivalente de dizer <\/span><b>cair a ficha<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">? Na verdade, existem v\u00e1rias possibilidades, ent\u00e3o voc\u00ea pode escolher mais que uma.
