ways to ask in Irish if someone plays music.\u00a0 Probably the most general is \u201c<strong>An bhfuil ceol agat<\/strong>?\u201d\u00a0 This literally means \u201cIs there music at you\u201d and refers to playing or singing.\u00a0 The construction where an activity is \u201cat you\u201d is widely used to ask about skills or abilities.\u00a0 Some more examples of the construction are \u201c<strong>An bhfuil sn\u00e1mh agat<\/strong>?\u201d (Can you swim?) and \u201c<strong>An bhfuil Gaeilge agat<\/strong>?\u201d (Do you know Irish?).\u00a0 The \u201cyes\u201d answer for these is \u201c<strong>t\u00e1<\/strong>\u201d and the \u201cno\u201d answer is \u201c<strong>n\u00edl<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0 Many people will tend to modify the answer a bit, as in, \u201c<strong>T\u00e1 beag\u00e1n Gaeilge agam<\/strong>\u201d (I know a little Irish).\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><strong><span style=\"color: black;font-family: style=\"font-size: small\">The verb \u201c<strong>ag seinm<\/strong>\u201d (playing) is specifically used for playing music.\u00a0 Unlike English, Irish doesn\u2019t use a single word for playing music, sports (<strong>ag imirt<\/strong>) and in general (<strong>ag s\u00fagradh<\/strong>).\u00a0 If you\u2019re asking someone if they play an instrument, the question starts \u201c<strong>An
