All of these answers have an ending for the verb that shows that it is in the future tense:<\/p>\n

rachaidh<\/strong> [RAH-khee], will go.\u00a0 This is the irregular future form of the verb “t\u00e9igh.”\u00a0 You can see why it’s\u00a0 considered irregular, since no part of “t\u00e9igh<\/strong>” is repeated in the future.\u00a0 With regular verbs, in contrast, you can always see something of the core, even as the time frame changes, as in “d\u00fan \/ d\u00fanfaidh<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

beidh<\/strong> [bay, almost “bay-ee”], will be<\/p>\n

seinnfidh<\/strong> [ SHEN-hee], will play (specifically for music, not games)<\/p>\n

d\u00e9anfaidh<\/strong> [DJ<\/sup>AYN-hee], will do<\/p>\n

l\u00e9ifidh<\/strong> [LAY-hee], will read<\/p>\n

And how about the answers several readers posted (a, b, and d translated here into Irish; c was already in Irish)? \u00a0Seo iad<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

a. Beidh m\u00e9 ag \u00f3l, tada seachas a bheith ag \u00f3l<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

b. Beidh m\u00e9 ag obair sa mhaidin agus ag \u00f3l agus ag damhsa san o\u00edche<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
